    I heard you say Jesus wasn’t grace; your argument (a seemingly logical one) was that since Jesus was “full of grace” he couldn’t himself have been the grace.

    I used the same argument at first (and thought these “grace”-people were really sloppy exegetes – actually, for the most part, I still think they are), but later I remembered that Jesus was also said to have been “full of… truth” – this in spite of the fact that we know he was himself the truth.

    Just something to think about.
