In regards to Gal.4…Paul quoting the first verse of Is.54 is no different than Jesus quoting the first verse of ps.22 when he said ‘my god,my god’ etc. Is.54 is referring to the resurrection where ezek. temple will be built. The whole chapter will be fulfilled in the resurrection. Like dr. brown said there’s alot about the next life we don’t know or understand…yet. But like the caller said, Paul does refer to Is.54 as the Jerusalem above! Just as Ps22, the whole chapter, explains what was happening to Jesus, Is.54,the whole chapter, refers to a Jerusalem above.
