Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: You better believe that the gospel and politics intercept and intersect each other. We’re in this world. We’re not of it, but we’re in it, and we’re called to make a difference.

  1. I can not get my mind around the moral decline that has taken place in our country. I thought it would happen one day but not in my life time. Not as fast as it seems to have happened. I would never have believed the methodist church would accept gay marriage and there are so many other churches. I believe the only hope we have is for people to change their minds on how they see these moral issues and Jesus is the one that can do that. The Church needs to speak out more and do more to reach the lost. Before i was saved I did not see anything wrong with abortions and I only hated homosexuality because the thought of it disgusted me. But all that changed when Jesus saved me and showed me the truth. I believe that it is not to late but it is going to take more of an effort by more Christians. If the Church in our country does not do something soon we are going to have persecution to the extent that we would never have thought possible. There are Christians in other countries that pray for the Church in America to come under persecution believing that it is only thing that will turn people to The Lord here in our country. Persecution is great in many countries around the world but people are coming to the Lord in great numbers in these countries.
