When a Doctor Is Fired for Telling the Truth; and the Bible and the Refugee Crisis

[Download MP3]

In the first hour, Dr. Brown speaks with Dr. Paul Church, a faculty member at Harvard University’s Medical School and a hospital doctor for 30 years who was fired for telling the truth about health dangers of homosexual practice. In the second hour, Dr. Brown will discuss different Christian perspectives on the Syrian refugee crisis. Listen live here 2-4 pm EST, and call into the show at (866) 348 7884 with your questions and comments.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: We need to stand up and speak the truth regardless of cost or consequences. God expects nothing less than that from us.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: I’ll say it again. The government should major on security; the Church should major on compassion, that way we can help the refugees.

  1. Why would Dr. Church have been surprised at the treatment he received? We’re living in a world where those pushing the homosexual lifestyle are out to destroy anyone who dares to disagree with them in any way! Why was he so surprised and assuming if he could just make his case, if he could just do it in front of colleagues, that any of it would matter?

Looks like he had a rude awakening to what the world is like these days! I do hope justice is done for him.

  2. I’m thinking that with a name like that, a man will likely be a target. It’s a crooked fallen world we live in, but where were the people who went with him to tell them that what they were doing was wrong, wrong for everyone, wrong for the medical field, wrong for the school, wrong for everyone, because it’s just plain wrong? Do we want to hang together or hang separately?, as the saying goes.

  3. So in listening, @ about minute 17 we hear that the Dr. is accused of discrimination for speaking up against the promotion of homosexuality in the hospital, so it seems what the enemy is after is our “discrimination”, that is our discernment, or our discretion, our knowing good from evil. The enemy is after our minds, to get to our hearts and souls. His intent seems to be that we would begin to call evil good and good evil, and that by force, by injustice, by deception, by whatever means and persons he may employ, who wish to earn the wages that no man can live on.

  4. So when the world sees moral clarity as …some sort of a smokescreen or something…I guess that means what? …that we are on the other side of the veil?.. some kind of veil anyway.
