Gentile jealousy happens. When will we learn that this is not about “who is Dad’s favorite son ?”, it’s all about Him and acknowledging the privilege of His grace. I’m a gentile and I have no problem with the fact that the gospel is to the jew first, none of us are here for our merit and we all are here to serve anyway.
I have to let Yeshua do the rest. I have Jewish friends that I talk to every day about this. Recently one of them convinced me that I need to watch a youtube Ziegist (spell). This went down the direction that Christianity is nothing but a paganized version of an original Egyptian creation.
I can not debate rabbi’s- write 25 books in great detail of why Jesus is the Jewish messiah. This is going to take a messiah to reveal himself, and I am ready now.
Re Rabbi Schochet who did make the argument that he does not need to alert Christians that they are following a false god, they are at least seeking after God. Christians need only to follow 7 principles of living that is his goal.
Not to diminish the good work of this ministry in any way. Only to point out the difficult outreach before us is to say even Rabbi Schochet who was clearly given the best arguments in the last 2000 years died with out being convinced. What more wealth of debating and writing books will that do for my work before me>?
My only goal is to share with my Jewish friend the accuracy of the Torah. Like Schochet if he can find God, my work is done God must do the rest. I do not have the intellectual capacity, book writing resume, nor debate skills to overcome the debate. I can only point out the truth in what Pascal knew that the very existence of God is witnessed through the survival of the Jewish people.
