  1. John was tripping on shrooms in a cave when he wrote the book of Revelation? What is Fugelsang tripping on? What a thing to say! I pray the Father opens his eyes and radically turns his life around.

  2. Question for Dr. Brown- You can watch a youtube on the Temple institute on the Red Heifer that they are watching with great interest. It was born 6 mos ago in the states and so far is being watched for being the 10th such red heifer which ushers in the Messiah. This is about a 7 minute youtube and was wondering your opinion on this.

  3. jon,

The Red Heifer bunch seems like a classic cult, maybe even queerer than average.

Are you one of them? I recommend that you stay clear.

  4. Amy,

Was Fugelsang making a joke or was he serious? He is a comedian, you know.

If he was being serious, he certainly isn’t the first to suggest that John the Revelator was having hallucinations. People have suggested the same thing about the prophet Muhammad.

    I don’t think so, personally.

The book of Revelation, as strange as it seems to us now, is solidly within the Jewish tradition of apocalyptic literature. It seems very strange to us, now, but that’s because we are so far removed from it after 2000 years.

  5. No Greg, The temple institute is trying to bring about the 3rd temple- of course I am not one of them- my third temple is Jesus- This is prophecy we are here. Look at it with amazement as this develops right before you.
