A Jewish Anti-Semite Making Waves on YouTube?

[Download MP3]

Dr. Brown interacts with YouTube clips from Brother Nathaniel who has become somewhat of an internet sensation for his attacks on Israel and the Jewish people. (“Brother Nathaniel” is a Jew now living as a Russian Orthodox monk.) Listen live here 2-4 pm EST, and call into the show at (866) 348 7884 with your questions and comments.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The nations will rise in hostility, but the purposes of God for His people will ultimately be accomplished.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Some of the hatred against the Jewish people in Israel is so extreme and so irrational that it can only be attributed to the father of lies himself.

  1. I find it somewhat slanderous every time Dr. Brown accuses us liberals of having no standards (“anything goes”!) because we believe in equal rights for gays.

I would argue that I have a far higher standard than the body parts fitting together!

It’s a kind of ethical narcissism to say that those of us who don’t accept the right wing anti-gay position therefore have no sexual morality.

Worse, the empirical evidence argues against Dr. Brown’s claim.

There have been repeated studies showing the conservative Christians have higher divorce rates and other negative sexual issues. We liberals actually do better in our marital morality!

Here is one study but you can Google it for yourself:

I strongly suspect that Dr. Brown is aware of these studies, yet he persists in this “anything goes with them!” argument.

  2. Dr. Brown,

Greg Allen posted this on 12/5 on your 12/4 thread:

I appreciated Dr. Brown’s exhortation to not blame all Pentecostals for the worst behavior of some crazy fringe Pentecostals.

I heartily agree with this Any group of more than about 20 people is going to have a bad person in it. You don’t judge the other nineteen by that person.

However, this was one of my biggest criticisms of Dr. Browns “A Queer Thing” book.

When painting a picture of Americans gay, Dr. Brown would consistently go to the NAMBLA web site or some old outrageous decades-old rhetoric by an early gay radical. Or second-hand reports of some supposed orgy on a school campus a decade ago. Or even completely unverified internet rumors.

If Dr. Brown writes another book on gays, I strongly encourage him to judge the true nature of the gay equality movement by the mainstream, reasonable and respectful gays. Not the crazy fringe.

Please treat others as you want to be treated.”- http://www.lineoffireradio.com/2013/12/04/dr-brown-broadcasts-live-from-india/#comment-567850

    Are these accusations true?

    Shalom

  3. Those who are contrary to the will of God and refuse to change, walk by an evil spirit, and are in effect a God to themselves. To them, anything goes as long as it’s in agreement to themself. They measure everything by their own rule, one they have designed themself, to please themself.

  4. They that compare themselves among themselves are not wise. And don’t they do this to commend themselves? (II Cor 10:12)
