  1. I wonder if Dr. Brown didn’t miss an opportunity with the caller, Sheila, who was all bothered about her girfriend who Sheila thought was too sexy.

I strongly suspect that her call was more about herself than her friend.

I would have asked, “Why do you care what your friend looks like?”

In humility, I confess that this comes out of my own spiritual growth.

When I was saved out of conservatism, I realized that I wasn’t trusting the Holy Spirit to work in other people’s lives. I would encourage Sheila do to the same.

  2. I appreciate that Dr. brown did not soley focus on homesexual as a sexual sin. Ppl tend to down play the others and focus all their rants on homosexuals (probably because this issue is thrown on ppl face 24/7). I am just glad that issue as a whole was addressed. God wants us to live right, pt blank.

  3. Ty,

How is homosexuality “thrown in your face”?

I hear that mentioned often but have never see it happen.

My city fairly gay-welcoming and maybe once or twice a year I’ll see a gay discretely couple holding hands. I can’t think of an instance where they were making-out of something like that. (I can’t say that about heterosexuals!)

The gays do hold a pride parade but I have never attended. If I did attend, could I fairly accuse them of “throwing it in my face”?

How have gay people thrown themselves in your face?

  4. Greg… its not that homosexual are literally thrownin themselves in my face.. but issues about homosexuality are.
Everynight on the news, any paper you read… “Supreme court this”, “Pope says this”, “a debate between REpubs and dems about Gay marriage”, the conversation is everywhere….

So, the issues surrounding homosexuality is constantly in the media… I usethe eyes on my face to view the media…so I said. its thrown in our face 24/7.

Disclaimer… before we get off track.. I did not say that its wrong to debate it or not… I am just saying that the “issues” & “events” surrounding that community have recently always been in media.

I almost look forward to hearing about the NSA guy.

U are takeing my comment to be “Im tired of seeing gay ppl”, and that is not what I am saying… I am saying… I go to yahoo news.. “A issue about CA gay marrriage”, I go to news channel “Supreme court gay marriage”, I go to Twitter “Pope says this”, I turn channel “Desmond Tutu sys this”…. I cant wait for NFL to start

  5. Greg Allen,

Are you sure that you were saved from conservatism? It seems to me that you fell away from conservatism and were saved from entering the kingdom of heaven. You do not believe what the Bible says anymore. You justify the very sins that the Bible says deserve the wrath of YHWH. It says further that those that justify those that do such things also deserve YHWH’s wrath. Do you not hold the truth in unrighteousness?

    Romans 1:
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness…
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient…
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
    Chapter 2
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that justifies: for wherein thou justifies another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that justifies doest the same things.

You would do well to stop justifying sin.
It is time to wake up!

  6. B4 u guys get going…this is y Im glad Dr.Brown addressed adultery, prostituion, also with sexual sins. It seems that the others do not get discussed.

A perfect example is this post section. We are about write full essay only about homosexuals, although the whole show was about sexual impurity as a whole.

    Ty

  7. Ty,

I usually address Adultery in my posts on this topic. The scripture does indicate that those that do not repent of adulterous or homosexual lifestyles will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. Both deserve the death penalty according to YHWH.

The church is full of adultery according to Y’Shua…since he said that to divorce and remarry is adultery…except in the rarest of circumstances. We do people a disfavor by not addressing this issue. I am no more against same-sex sin as I am against opposite-sex sin.

And I think that you are correct that the same-sex propaganda seems to always be set before us in the media.

    Shalom

  8. How does one repent of ” adultery” through remarriage? Especially, after 30 yrs. Of remarriage?

  9. excellent question eagle man. since the caller was troubled enough to ask the question it does seem that the circumstances under which the remarriage occurred were dubious – and it did sound like the venerated dr copped out on this one. to me, it sounded like she didn’t want her first love, found somebody better and BOOOM LIFE IS GOOD. i guess at that stage – 30 yrs -the damage is already done so separation from that spouse would be damaging too. perhaps she should be celibate? i dunno i’m no authority.

it’s sad, i know too many xians (dare i saw putative xians?) who’ve thrown away everything for the sake of having sex outside the prescribed bounds. too many. 1,2,3,4, 5 people just off the top of my head. sexual immorality is rife in the western church. absolutely rife. i heard in one of those promise ring surveys that 50% fail to keep their promise.

i heard taht the porn industry’s revenues towers that of hollywood, the NFL, and NBA revenutes combined. it’s one of satan’s most successful franchises. they’ve done quite well and are tearing us to pieces. kudos to team evil. shame on us.
