Speaking of amillennialism and postmillennialism, Dr. Brown said:
While I agree non of these are salvation issues, I disagree that they are not matters of Orthodoxy.
The last of the twelve Apostles, John, after his exile in Patmos was finished, taught the bishops in Asia (Turkey) about the millennial reign and the first and second resurrections at the beginning and end of the millennium (AKA the one thousand year day of the Lord.)
That’s our mesorah for true Apostolic faith. Rome in their anti-Jewish hatred, didn’t want a future Jewish Torah kingdom, but wanted the Roman Empire to be the kingdom of God on earth, so abandoned what the Apostle John had been teaching the faithful in Asia.
is it possible that the “millennial reign” is perhaps just ONE DAY?
I would like a bottom line answer to: what is the Kingdom of God AND is it the same as the Kingdom of Heaven?
