Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: There is no question that much of the Church in America is terribly backslidden and compromised, but revival can start with you, and with you, and with you! One at a time the nation can be shaken!

  1. so god uses everyone. very nice. i wish i could be used in a useful way but everytime i talk to someone i dont have no good answers. WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE they cry? and i say in the gospels and then that is ususally followed by some nonsensical answer which betrays their ignorance and/or folly – but sometimes it has the guise of rationality but it’s usually a facade to cloak the former two qualities – nevertheless i am usually left dumbounded and speechless and unable to answer their questions. i wish i had the wisdom to answer these objections. e.g. “who created God??” atheists ask. and then we embark on an endless rigmarole……….

    ______________
as for the fireman who was on drugs and hallucinated about the pig demon – how does this gentleman know that this wasn’t just a trip – how does he know that that was actual reality. it’s a nice story, but atheists demand answers to those sorts of questions.

  2. Hey Ben,

I hear you. It can be very frustrating. I think we have to know our audience. Like the Athests, are they just wanting to argue or are the invloved in a real dialogue? Some ppl aer just out to argu and instead of listening and engageing in a converstaion, they just look to debate.

When I talk to atheists and the few I know, I just try to answer there question with this answer… “where every you think creation started… God is right before that”. There are many other topics to discuss, I usually find the “who created God question” as a just ploy to argu, because they have no reasonable answer on there side. So in a sense they are just arguing to argu.. with no answer of there own to defend.
