  1. Unpardonable sin:

I agree with Arnold Fruchtenbaum about what the unpardonable sin was. But I do believe there is an unpardonable sin today as well (upon death). The sin of unbelief. If you pass in unbelief, that’s unpardonable (of course coming to saving belief/faith in life will bring a pardon). It may sound like I just contradicted myself but my empahsis in on passing or never coming to belief. I think J. Vernon McGee was the one I first heard speak about this aspect of it. Not to equate unbelief with the sin identified in scripture about attributing the deeds of the Holy Spirit to Satan. Just speaking in a different context about today.

  2. I love Dr. Fruchtembaum. He has a few teachings I disagree with just like everyone :). However, I think he may be the most consistent literal interpreters of prophecy I have seen. I found the teaching on the unpardonable sin interesting. It is hard to be dogmatic that it is a sin that can no longer be committed based on the text, however.

I like how Dr. Brown explained it… that they knew the works were done by the Holy Spirit and still attributed them to Satan. I had never heard it explained like that before. They knew what was going on but their position was more important to them than acknowledging the truth.

    Blessings,
    Peter

  3. The Bible is filled of stories of how the Hebrews were accomplished martial artists, here’s just one verse:

They were among the staunch men who helped him in war. They were bowmen and could shoot arrows and sling stones with either the right or the left hand; they were Benjaminites, Saul’s kinsmen. 1 Chronicles 12:1b–2

There is an episode of Museum Secrets on the History channel coming up that will show ancient Hebrew martial arts. It’s entitled:
    Israel Museum in Jerusalem
    It’s part of season three.
