  2. I’m going to call in one of these days and ask some questions about some statements Jesus made to His disciples. I have so many questions though.

  3. It seems to me that the Spirit of God may very well be seen as a being at times, though I’ve never actually seen him that way. I trust that the Spirit of truth is something that will guide us and keep us in Christ Jesus. It will be with the Christian for eternity, will it not?

    about the question of every believer being martyred during the tribulation. One of the things I found the most comforting about the Islamic-endtimes-paradigm is that the AntiChrist will not rule the globe, but will only rule the ארץ־מלכותו, much like Biblical empires, from north Africa till Turkey till Afghanistan. So that Christians in Egypt and Iraq will die (they already are and my heart bleeds for them), but Christians outside of his kingdom will not be in danger the same way. One of Walid Shoebat’s most favourite things to point out is how the AntiChrist comes against the most strongest of fortresses, which logically would mean that the AntiChrist does not have the most strongest fortress, and concerning the AntiChrist the Bible says,

    “We raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men” Micah 5:5

    Essentially that it will be similar to WWII, with the allies and the axis, such that Jews within the kingdom of Hilter were killed, but Jews outside of his kingdom were safe, likewise in the future kingdom of the AntiChrist.

  5. About the Apostles having wives, the Roman Catholic historian Eusebius reports:

    “Philip, one of the twelve apostles, who fell asleep in Hierapolis; and his two aged virgin daughters, and another daughter, who lived in the Holy Spirit and now rests at Ephesus.” Book V – Chapter XXIV

    Obvious Philip couldn’t have daughters without a wife. Since Catholics love Catholic sources, I just thought I’d add this. 🙂

  7. Ezekiel predicted blood sacrifices in the age to come. Yet we know that our Lord died once, for all, which leaves the issue somewhat unclear. Also, how might we interpret Malachi’s prophesy of the “Pure Offering,” which would appear on altars all over the world. The pre-Protestant Christian groups would understand these alleged discrepansies as references to the Eucharist. In fact, Dr. Brown actually makes reference to this in Vol. 2 of Jewish Objections. The ancient churches understand the Eucharist to be truly sacrificial and propitiatory, being the offering of the actual body of Christ, not merely a symbolic and spiritual commemoration, but an anamnesis in the truest sense–a living memorial, a representation of Calvary which appeases the Father. With all due respect to my Godly Evangelical friends, this is the only interpretation that can make sense, when we look at the whole of Scripture.
