What do I say to a Messianic Jewish rabbi who claims that I’m antisemitic? What commentaries would I recommend on the Genesis? What do I make of the claims of the famous Semitic scholar Friedrich Delitzsch that the root word behind the name Yahweh goes back to Sumerian (or Akkadian) cuneiform tablets that predate Moses by centuries? Listen live here 2-4 pm EST, and call into the show at (866) 348 7884 with your questions and comments!

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: The Conventions are coming; Republican, Democratic. There is going to be so much controversy in the air. How about praying more? How about not getting caught up in the controversy, and spending more time in the presence of God, and getting the mind and heart and will of God, and demonstrating who Jesus is to a lost and dying world?

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: It is God’s intent that Jesus be exalted to the highest place in the universe. In fact, God has exalted His name above every other name. It is our job now to make Him known, to declare that name, and to live lives worthy of the glorious name of Jesus, Yeshua.

  1. For my words of welcome to Charlotte’s LGBT community this Sunday morning, August 26th, please listen to the first segment of the second hour. May the Lord’s grace and love be poured out!

  2. Thank you for answering my question Dr. Brown. I love my Pastor and he has really been a blessing in my life. Being a spy didn’t sound right to me as well.

  3. I was listening to the Podcast from Aug. 2 about Hank H. I liked your review of the history of the founding of modern Israel that ended at about 10 min remaining in the broadcast. It was the same as I recall reading in Newsweek and Time in the 60’s and 70’s. And you almost have me convinced about the Zech. 12. But I still not sure that the fulfilment may have been already started and seen in the numbers of Jews coming to Christ even now.
But when I read Rom. 4 esp. vs 13 and Gal. 3 esp. vs 16 I understand that all the promises of inheritance of the natural things are to all who are of the FAITH of Abraham and “in Christ” his spiritual seed whether Jews or Gentiles and surely we Gentiles are merely grafted in branches but the root is true Israel to whom we are joined in Christ. We must NOT boast and certainly not think we are superior. Otherwise, I agreed with every thing else that you said.

  4. Thanks for responding to my question regarding divorce and remarriage, Dr Brown. It was a dark and gloomy time emotionally last week. This week the light is breaking through. What a relief! Praise the Lord. Thanks again. God bless you.

Same goes for Michael’s own key book,’Our Hands Are Stained With Blood’.

A typical Evangelical thinks in terms of a new religion called ‘Christianity’ ; actually,it is a New,Better,Second COVENANT with the ouse of Israel and the housa of Judah. Those two books help to set the record straight.

I may as well add here some of the most important sentences Michael has ever penned, from chapter 10 of his book ‘Revolution in the Church’ :

‘[Here refering to the words of Martin Luther and others]How could a faith founded on sacrificial love turn into such a monstrous exhibition of bigotry and hate ? The answer is simple : The Church lost sight of its Jewish roots…ignorance turned into arrogance….Rather than seeing Jesus as the One who came to fulfil the faith of Moses and the Prophets,we [i.e. many misinformed Evangelicals] see Him primarily as the founder of a new religion called Christianity.Yet that is not a biblical concept…’ (Chapter 10 : ‘Have You Read the Epistle of Jacob lately ?’)
