[Download MP3]

Dr. Brown exposes the errors behind replacement theology and dual covenant theology, also explaining why it is so important for the Church to contend for the salvation of the Jewish people.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Despite Satanic resistance, misunderstanding in church history, and the hatred of the world, God continues to keep His promises to Israel. He will ultimately save the Jewish people at the end of the age.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: There are many things that are confusing in the Scriptures and things that seem contradictory at first glance, but if you’ll study and look, you’ll see one thing that emerges clearly. God will keep His promises.

  1. Good show!

All of these callers who called in and differed just gave me a better idea of how it is that the typical anti-Zionist Christian think. It’s not too compelling and Dr. Brown, after correcting them, just shows the overwhelming Biblical evidence for the Christian/Jewish Zionist position, rest assure, the Bible clearly teaches Zionism and be unashamed of it!

That link is to David Pawson’s biography ; if you scroll down to the description of his book ‘Defending Christian Zionism’ there is a link to a Pawson/Sizer debate – it is a short radio debate on 15 minutes or so.

Listen to the talk, they both speak respectfully and calmly, which is as it should be.

Here is the book David wrore in response to Simon Sizer and John Stott’s teaching on Israel.

  3. Replacement Theology is a strawman argument used by Dispensationalist. It doesn’t hold water. Yes, the Church is now the Chosen People of God, but how is that replacement seeing as to how the majority of of the first converts were Jewish the remnant that God always had throughout the OT.Thousands upon thousands, upon thousands of Jews were the body of the Church to start with. Then the Gospel went out to gentiles. Converts became one in Jesus the Christ whether Jew or gentile. Those calling themselves Christian have to accept what the Bible says and not what they have been taught by men. . . . . . “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy” (1 Peter 2:9,10).
If people are determined to give it a name I think “Inclusive Theology” is more accurate.
Read Isaiah 65:1-15. This is breaking of covenant decree against Israel. Look at verse 15-“You will leave your name for my chosen ones to use in their curses; the Soveriegn Lord will put you to death, but to his servants he will give another name.”
The name which God’s people called themselves: “Israelites” will be a curse word, and the servants (new people of God) will be called by another name (Christians, saints, the elect, followers of the Way, or disciples).

  4. ZION is not a mind-persuading affirmation; it’s a heart for Israel akin to the greatest Marriage Covenant.
I have watched several leaders make this mistake; only to be distracted by so many things, even while there.
If you want purpose in the Spirit past all physical idols, ask GOD to give you a zeal for Zion.
    In Him, Ron M.

  5. continuing my own conversation:
    ZION can be separated into two Hebrew words that together mean “Wilderness of the Greeks” (timely, nes pas?); yet the Message of the Cross is not ultimately where we’re supposed to “camp out”;
our Focus is not on the cross (though we are forever grateful for what our Savior did for us, and we are required to shoulder our own burden), but upon Resurrection Life!

So COMMUNITY employing GOD-prescribed Law written on our hearts (+ marriage, family, tribe) becomes our goal. This is not only a Vision and an Ideal; it is our Mandate to “prepare the Way” for the Millennium (“You will not see me again, Jersualem, until you say…”)

What gets in the way of the Way? Ahab and Jezebel. Jez has been explored at length during the past couple of decades; but we still have not dealt with the “70 sons of Ahab”. What is this Spiritually?

Personal Kingdom-building USES the Law for its own purposes; it is myopic, selfish, and destructive toward the Greater Goals of the Kingdom of GOD. I didn’t dream that I would have to fight this Rephaim giant for over two decades; but so-be-it. We can still walk out of this and Do things Right, with GOD’s mighty Hand guiding us. Amen and amen.

    In Him, Ron M.

  6. I sat through this program in order to transcribe your teaching, Dr. Brown, and I am stunned . . . that was a brutal two hours! What I heard on this program and what I have experienced in my life is one and the same – Christians have huge anger toward Israel. I am just becoming aware of the role the teaching of replacement theology has in fueling that anger, the stronghold it has in our churches, and the deep roots it has grown within Christian academia (that one is an understatement). Thank you for your consistent teaching. We need to hear that God’s covenant with Abraham was unconditional and we need to know what made it unconditional . . . we need to hear the scriptures from the OT that talk about God’s refusal to break His covenant. We need to hear why replacement theology is wrong and we need to hear you think these ideas through for us and with us to their logical conclusion in order to understand why they’re wrong. Thank you for doing that. It is helping me to understand so I can stand for Israel from the truth of the Word, and even though I may lose friends, I cannot not speak. Bless you!

  7. specifically a comment on Marsha’s comment…
Take another look…true, “Israelites” has become a curse word, but have you not noticed… “Christian” is lining right up alongside Israelites as a curse word. Christians are and always will be at root level “Israelites” and should never be haughty towards our brothers in the family of God but should be standing beside the Father watching anxiously for their return to the home and the Father that has always been theirs and ours.

    Pretrib Rapture Pride

    by Bruce Rockwell

Pretrib rapture promoters like Thomas Ice give the impression they know more than the early Church Fathers, the Reformers, the greatest Greek New Testament scholars including those who produced the KJV Bible, the founders of their favorite Bible schools, and even their own mentors!
Ice’s mentor, Dallas Sem. president John Walvoord, couldn’t find anyone holding to pretrib before 1830 – and Walvoord called John Darby and his Brethren followers “the early pretribulationists” (RQ, pp. 160-62). Ice belittles Walvoord and claims that several pre-1830 persons, including “Pseudo-Ephraem” and a “Rev. Morgan Edwards,” taught a pretrib rapture. Even though the first one viewed Antichrist’s arrival as the only “imminent” event, Ice (and Grant Jeffrey) audaciously claim he expected an “imminent” pretrib rapture! And Ice (and John Bray) have covered up Edwards’ historicism which made a pretrib rapture impossible! Google historian Dave MacPherson’s “Deceiving and Being Deceived” for documentation on these and similar historical distortions.
The same pretrib defenders, when combing ancient books, deviously read “pretrib” into phrases like “before Armageddon,” “before the final conflagration,” and “escape all these things”!
BTW, the KJV translators’ other writings found in London’s famed British Library (where MacPherson has researched) don’t have even a hint of pretrib rapturism. Is it possible that Ice etc. have found pretrib “proof” in the KJV that its translators never found?
Pretrib merchandisers like Ice claim that nothing is better pretrib proof than Rev. 3:10. They also cover up “Famous Rapture Watchers” (on Google) which shows how the greatest Greek NT scholars of all time interpreted it.
Pretrib didn’t flourish in America much before the 1909 Scofield Bible which has pretribby “explanatory notes” in its margins. Not seen in the margins was jailed forger Scofield’s criminal record throughout his life that David Lutzweiler has documented in his recent book “The Praise of Folly” which is available online.
Biola University’s doctrinal statement says Christ’s return is “premillennial” and “before the Tribulation.” Although universities stand for “academic freedom,” Biola has added these narrow, restrictive phrases – non-essentials the founders purposely didn’t include in their original doctrinal statement when Biola was just a small Bible institute! And other Christian schools have also belittled their founders.
Ice, BTW, has a “Ph.D” issued by a tiny Texas school that wasn’t authorized to issue degrees! Ice now says that he’s working on another “Ph.D” via the University of Wales in Britain. For light on the degrees of Ice’s scholarliness, Google “Bogus degree scandal prompts calls to wind up University of Wales,” “Thomas Ice (Bloopers),” “be careful in polemics – Peripatetic Learning,” and “Walvoord Melts Ice.” Also Google “Thomas Ice (Hired Gun)” – featured by media luminary Joe Ortiz on his Jan. 30, 2013 “End Times Passover” blog.
Other fascinating Google articles include “The Unoriginal John Darby,” “X-raying Margaret,” “Edward Irving in Unnerving,” “Pretrib Rapture Politics,” “Pretrib Rapture Secrets,” “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” “Pretrib Rapture Secrecy,” and “Roots of Warlike Christian Zionism” – most from the author of “The Rapture Plot,” the most accurate documentation on pretrib rapture history.
Can anyone guess who the last proud pretrib rapture holdout will be?
