Dr. Brown Interviews Dr. Howie Morgan

[Download MP3]

Dr. Brown interviews his dear ministry colleague Dr. Howie Morgan, talking about how he overcame fear in his own life, and focusing on the cross and the kingdom of God.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: When you’re dealing with fear, paralyzed with fear, or held hostage by fear, expose the lie and the fear will die. Jesus said, “Continue in my Word, you’ll know the Truth, you’ll be my disciples indeed, and truth will set you free.”

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: We are on a journey. It is not just one stop and it’s all over. We are on a journey and we are growing. Don’t let the setbacks stop you. Don’t let the failures stop you. Turn to the Lord, be cleansed, repent where you need to and move forward. If you draw near to the Lord, He will draw near to you!

  1. I understand the bad of fear that paralyses the body. But what of fear that you might not do what is sufficient to find the door opened when you knock.

It has frustrated me, Pauls writing in Romans 9:17, that if He can harden the Pharaohs heart how does he find us wrong to resist his will. That is something very unsettling/fearful. Might we be The Lord using us for some message Good and bad to others?

“Lead us not into temptation” is even in the Lords Prayer. I try to remember that He has spared me even though I have done wrong. But how can I ignore the swiftness of the Lord when he decides Enough. Thats frightening.

  2. I think Anti Semitism is much like the cry of Racism. It is the easy excuse used for why others succeed and a person might feel they dont. The sick message also that Money means true liberation.

I think Roy Schoeman suggested something along the line that it is the beasts desire to keep the magic number of Israel from acknowledging Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord. I think there is something to that.

  3. I appreciate so much the Line Of Fire and the guests like Dr. Morgan who encourage us in our personal struggles to continually be overcomers. I am a sight impaired 60-year-old but need the medicine in the Gospel now just as much as I did when a youngster. I find it disheartening that some in the ministry teach one is both sinner and saint so deal with it and come back next week. Learn to live with your sin instead of (forgive spelling) disillusionment, is the advisement.
By the third or fourth day after hearing that line of thinking, my fave sin is becconing instead of sent packing. These men and women would do well to resign from the pulpit or get a good dose of 12-step model application in their own lives. May God keep us near Him and away from the lure of sin and destruction!

  4. I have deep respect for Dr. Morgan and listened to his message about overcoming fear with my whole heart. I want all the weeds in my heart exposed so that I can hear my Father say: “Well done”.

  5. very inspiring and profound Interview – only those who are fearless can and will be faithful. A fearful believer can never be faithful. And a fearless believer is a force to be reckoned with!
    Thanks Howard

  6. I have the same to overcome, I do not know how to overcome it, so guys do you think I have to go on the street and do the same ?
