As a torch bearer, I recently had the privilege of watching your 10 part Revival series online. That was indeed eye-opening (as you are so apt to say!). I come from a non-Christian background and as a recent inductee into the Body, I had a lot of questions about what Revival was and was not and this series gave me an education I will not soon forget. If one goes by hearsay, one doesn’t come away with a coherent or positive view of Revival — seems like just a lot of nuttiness. But that’s really changed for me now.
It also gave me an idea of the power of God and what is possible when He makes a move – the suddenness and often surprising quality of His powerful touch. It also made the Holy Spirit more real to me. And it made the Book of Acts come alive. It was worth becoming a torch bearer just for that series. Thank you very much.

What a really powerful song! It speaks to the longing in my own soul. You did good, Dr. Brown! 🙂
So why does revival tarry? It is only because we don’t want it bad enough yet. We don’t perceive how precarious a state we’re in. Are things not desperate enough yet? It seems we’re waiting until they are.
The most powerful weapon we possess is prayer, yet it lies dormant in our lives because most of us don’t realize, or have yet to experience, the miraculous outworkings that are manifested when we pray. While we gaze upon a wayward and dying mass of humanity, lamenting the state of the world today, we should cover our heads in shame because it is within our power to make a difference. We’re mostly all talk, we’re lazy, we’re comfortable and complacent, we’re to well fed and we don’t yet desire a visitation of the Spirit because then we’d be awakened to actually do something! The Holy Spirit moves within each of us, He’s always available, He is a living, active agent sent from God for our help, yet we don’t desire to let Him work His work among us. He is motivated by our prayers to perform the will of God in our lives. Jesus said we could move a mountain, but none of us really believes Him!
We desperately need to take hold of the power of prayer. Our prayer life is a vital, proactive demonstration of our faith in the Lord’s promises. He sent the Holy Spirit to work in and through us and His desire is for us to unite as One! We need to unite under our only common denominator and shed the fluff and divisive elements that are preventing us from achieving what the Lord prayed we would. Either we stand united in the Power of the Holy Spirit, or we’ll start getting picked off one by one.
Lord, help us to pray as Elijah did, as David did, as You did!
Come on already guys, just get out of your own way and let the Spirit take the lead!

About the mountain—I believe Him!!
If God is really stepping down from heaven in a revival, then real revival should look like something totally out of this world. I would love to experience a real revival. I want to experience God’s true power, the power of the Creator of all things. Colossians 1:16 “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:” It is a deep thought when we think about God and everything coming into existence by His Word. What a great God! He truly is everything we need. To think that God would want to have a relationship with me and you shows us how loving and meek our God is. We need you God. Revive us again!

“I am not a man that I should need man’s recognition, pride, and persuasive speeches to be who I AM; I AM He who was, and Is, and Is to come. Some have put charisma before my word, heart, and care. Some have put their conceptualization of me as primary. Of the many dissipating waters these pursuits are their preferences, not my own. My cloud is not a fog. These vanities too will be corrected this year in the drip, drip, drip changing hearts and minds before the pouring forth. ‘ Come to me you who are burdened, and heavy laden’ is still in my open heart, my way, and my expectation of transaction with all who call upon my Name.
You will first learn and know my care, by yielding one to another, even preferring one another. You will walk in my ways, by knowing and seeking my co-counsel. You will manifest my touch as clarity of being in the face of present confusion, in the fear of the Lord, accompanying the spirit of holiness. Let no one declare himself, let no one assert his partiality, let no one move without his brethren in step. This is the new thing I AM doing. The fear of I AM being Lord, the care of my Way, and our being One will be revealed before I Return. It is a fresh start with me.
It is time to come into the stature I desire of my Bride. The spirit of wisdom and of depth of understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of me Lord–all–known with delight in the awe of my being with you. I will increasingly be with you. You will know it is me, not of your own making. But too, you must come together, in pursuit of repentance. You must not look left or right, but straight ahead. You must not judge and declare by what you see with eyes, ears, and sensation; for those needy are before you, needing the touch we share. Mercy, faithfulness, kindness and light will come before your paths–make your way straight I say. Straighten your path. Remove the distractions, step ahead. First for sound reason the realization will drip, drip, drip, then pour”. Feb. 26, in Colorado, to the Continent.
