Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: I know whom I believe. This is not a matter of speculation or second hand experience. It is not a matter of “all heart no mind, all mind no heart”. This is a matter to the core of my being and everything I am; body, soul, and spirit. I know, that I know, that I know, the God of Israel is true and Jesus is our Messiah!

  1. Dr. Brown, with so many Jews having founded other ideologies (Ayn Rand’s Libertarianism, Karl Marx’s communism, etc.), and Jews proving to be so impactful in the big picture issues of our world, is this proof that Rabbinic Judaism is not fulfilling? And if so, why do you think that many Jews who have sought truth outside of Rabbinic Judaism were still skewed away from Yeshua?

  2. Dr. Brown,

I think this is your best “bottom line” yet!—-

“It is not a matter of “all heart no mind, all mind no heart”. This is a matter to the core of my being and everything I am; body, soul, and spirit. I know, that I know, that I know, the God of Israel is true and Jesus is our Messiah!”

  3. I couldn’t comment on the Asher Intrater interview, (wonderful show!!) but after reading his little book on “Who Ate Lunch with Abraham?”, I’m going to have to get some to pass around! Great little quick read. If I keep passing books out I might need a license to become a Christian book distributor! 🙂

  4. I think we know that Jesus is our Messiah by the signs which happened more often than the color seen by sunrisings and settings. It seems to be simply a matter of the nature of things as they are.

The color of the sky might fool a man once in a while, yet we are quick to forecast upon what we have seen just as Jesus said, (Matt 16) for it usually does tell us something of what is ahead.

I Peter 1:10-12, Gen 22:8 for example are such signs that are given by the scriptures. There are so many, like the sunsets and risings we have seen. And they are in our hearts as many a Christian testifies of the truth.

Those who do the things Jesus said have received the evidence of the truth. As long as we don’t forget we should continue in what we have received.

It’s good to remember the blessings we have received of God when we did the things we were told to do by Jesus.

I suppose that those who say they don’t believe in Jesus are telling us they either haven’t been doing what he said, or they are denying him and being denied of the blessing by him.

As long as we continue in him, we will know.

And what if we have a very long run behind us of knowing him? Then won’t we really know? I suppose we could know so much that we could never forget and that’s where I want to get to.
