Ten Commitments of a Jesus Revolutionary

Are We Really Called to Change the World? (And More Thoughts on Jesus Revolution)

Revolution: The Call to Holy War: This book is not a call for the violent overthrow of the government, nor is it a call to take up arms, nor is it a call to political activism in and of itself. It is a call to something far more extreme, a call to live out the gospel…

It’s Time to Rock the Boat [MP3 series]: Our compromised message has produced a compromised generation of believers, and only a return to the New Testament gospel, preached in the power of the Spirit, can turn the tide. This course will open your eyes and set your hearts ablaze for Jesus!

AS A JESUS REVOLUTIONARY…

  1. I will spend quality time with God every day in prayer and the Word.
  2. I will walk in purity of heart and integrity of life, in thought, in speech, and in deed.
  3. I will not be ashamed of Jesus but will confess him boldly as Lord and Savior.
  4. I will commit myself to the Great Commission, looking for opportunities to win the lost, restore the backslidden, and make disciples.
  5. I will seek to be a peacemaker and ambassador of reconciliation, forgiving those who have offended me and seeking the forgiveness of those whom I have offended.
  6. I will walk in love towards those who despise and reject me, overcoming evil with good and hostility with kindness.
  7. I will pursue fellowship with brothers and sisters of like mind and will not separate myself from the Body.
  8. I will be involved with a ministry of mercy, through serving or through giving, helping to relieve human suffering in a tangible way.
  9. I will stand for righteousness and justice, enlisting myself in a moral cause for the honor of the Lord and the good of society.

10. I will seek the fullness of the Spirit, availing myself of everything God has made available for His people today.

Bryan lives in the inner-city of Kansas City with his wife Audrey and their five children. Together, they carry a jealousy for prayer, world missions, the mystery and salvation of Israel, historical revival, true fellowship in the Church, and the recovery of apostolic proclamation and living through the revelation of Jesus Christ. “…. that in all things He might have the pre-eminence.” In 2002 they founded a community of believers that came to be known as the Tent of David Fellowship. They served as senior leaders of the fellowship for 7 years. In 2011 they founded the Antioch Prayer Society.

The Purpose for Creating All Things – Art Katz: ‘Recognize the Influence’: VOR article by Marcus French:

Paul is about to tell us what the intent is, and the purpose, for which reason, God has created all things. So how dare you just sit there, as if you’re hearing a mere sermon? How is it you’re not leaning forward in your seat, with your hand cupped at your ear, that you should […]

  1. How can folks win the lost to Jesus when the church is so divided?

Take a look at the topic being held in this place.

“Should Christians celebrate Christmas?” Do you think God is being gloried by such division taken place, such arguments? The Lord says in His word

    Proverbs 6:16-19
16 These six things the LORD hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
    17 A proud look,
    A lying tongue,
    Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

The Lord HATES one who sows discord among brethren.

The caller Paul who said on the radio that the Christmas shoppers buying gifts for their love ones makes him SICK. He said…”They should just celebrate the Lord’s birth” (Amen to that)

Well, what makes my spirit SICK is what makes the LORD SICK… “one who sows discord among brethren.”

Instead of caring who celebrates Christmas or not…Love people instead. Stop judging!!! Instead Focus on the great commission… Bring the lost to Jesus.

Wake up People and love one another as Christ loves you. Stop the division. Live your life to give the Lord Glory and NOT Satan glory.

I think the church needs to clean up its act before they try to win other to Christ. Where is the Unity????

“There is a place of commanding blessing
    Where brethren in unity dwell
A place where anointing oil is flowing
    Where we live as one
You have called us to be a body
You have called us as friends
Joined together in the bond of the Spirit
    Unto the end
Father we join with the prayer of Jesus
As you are so let us be one
Joined together in unity and purpose
    Am7
All for the love you Son
    CHORUS:

    We will break dividing walls

    We will break dividing walls

We will break dividing walls in the name of your Son

    We will break dividing walls

    We will break dividing walls

    And we will be one”

I pray this song will convict.

  2. Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for
our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon
him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Celebrate Jesus and His word everyday. Appreciate and love Jesus everyday.

Hence, everyday being called CHRIST’s DAY!!!
    Did I mention…EVERYDAY

    PS
I am just a seed planter doing my job for the Lord. I am a combination of a female Jeremiah, John the Baptist, and King David, oh yeah, throw in a bit of Paul too…There you have it….That is me.

  3. Let me explain.

I am a Jeremiah because…I can not stop thinking about the Lord. He is engraved in my bones and whole being.

I am a John the Baptist because…I have the boldness and passion to care enough to say what the Lord leads me to say.

I am a King David because… My heart belongs to the Father and His Son.

I am a bit of Paul because…I have the zeal for the Lord and His word. I am not ashamed to speak pubically. Because I BELIEVE.

This is fun doing this. It is like I’m having a party with just myself that is invited. Of course the Lord too.

    Too ta loo now.

  4. Thank you Debbie for being so passionate. You are a blessing! (p.s) I very much enjoy reading your posts. Mike.

  5. You have blessed my heart Mike. Thanks for your encouragement.

I take it Lord from Mike’s post you still want me posting in here. Bless Mike Lord. I pray for favor in his life.

    Good one Lord…real good! 🙂

  6. Merry Christmas, Deborah, Mike and Dr. Brown: We managed to get through Christmas with very few presents, mostly to out of town and new inlaws who visited. In our family, we celebrate Christmas at least every Sunday, and mostly every day throughout the week, as we thank God for coming as Jesus, and being His Son, to live and die for us and show us a better way! We celebrate the Christmas season mostly though to Epiphany, and if I had it my way, I would celebrate until Lent begins. We’ve always bought our children gifts for what they need through the year, and see no need to overspend at Christmas time and go broke. We’ve trained them up in the Love and Admonition of the Lord, so we just love singing Christmas hymns that magnify the birth of Christ, who came for redemption of ALL MANKIND ( which includes everyone everywhere!) I was 30 myself before I realized God died for me, and not some people specific 2000 years ago! Gracious, God is so gracious! I intend to still cling to God and His Words for us during all of 2012! Happy New Year!
