Martyrdom and the Kingdom of God in India: Dr. Brown Interviews Yesupadam

[Download MP3]
Dr. Brown interviews Yesupadam, a Christian leader in India who has been stoned for his faith and who has planted hundreds of churches in the tribal regions. They will talk about Yesupadam’s testimony, persecution for the faith, and the remarkable things God is doing in India.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: If it is true that Jesus the Son of God shed His blood for us, that the Lamb of God gave Himself for filthy, wretched sinners, what act of service, what act of obedience is too much? In fact, whatever we do is too little to repay our eternal debt of gratitude. Let’s go for it!

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: It is not radical to follow Jesus by life or by death, or to say, “Here I am, send me!” It is not radical to give our blood for the gospel, to give our heart, mind, and soul to the King of kings and Lord of lords; in fact, it is the least we can do.

  1. Coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh is one of the most fertile regions in India for Evangelism. Very heart warming to hear the Testimonies of Mr. Yeshupaadam and sister Monica. Thank you very much for hosting these saints.

This is living Christian faith – makes us here in the US sitting and dueling with other Christians about “doctrine” look really bad. Doctrine is very important, no doubt about it, for doctrine dictates practice, but I am ashamed when we duel in matters I would consider non-central to Christianity. Thank you Lord for saints like Yeshupaadam and Monica and other saints in Andhra Pradesh. Thank you Dr. Brown for washing the martyr widow’s feet – I am unworthy to do the same.
