Through the Holy Spirit. As some things are only spiritually discerned. We cannot wrap our little minds around the vastness that is God. But we can begin to understand God as He is in Messiah, Jesus. That’s the way God chose to “make Himself known” to us. And to redeem us.
I submit that unitarians are the ones not taking biblical statements at “face value”. The whole of Scripture has to be true and those seeming contradictions can only be reconciled, in my understanding of them, in light of the triune God.
I’m hoping to come up with another, albeit, “philosophical” analogy of the “ocean”. 😀 Bear with me…It’ll come to me, God willing!

Of course, but that doesn’t mean you dispense with the normal rules of grammar and maths to make an unbiblical point.
Have you even contemplated the fact that you might be disobeying Jesus and his apostles by confusing the Son with the Father?
At the end of the day the creed of Israel and of Jesus is our judge, yours and mine.
This is not JUST a monotheistic creed but more importantly a unitarian one. It would be wise for us all to be found teaching this truth when the Messiah comes back.
The mangled maths of Trinity does not convince us at all!
“YHWH our God is 1 YHWH.” See, that is one of the things that make me pause when I read those, because why would God make the case that He is One “YHWH”? It leads me to wonder why that statement is made. As if I would say, Sheila is one Person. Or, maybe better as, Sheila is one Sheila.
Do you understand?
Let me give you this instance of what I mean:
Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
Zec 14:2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Zec 14:3 Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, [Making] a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south
Zec 14:8 And in that day it shall be [That] living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur.
Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be–“The LORD [is] one,” And His name one.
Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass [that] everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
Knowing that Jesus feet will be those that touch down on the Mt. of Olives and that He will reign from Jerusalem as King of the Jews, how could anyone not wonder?
So, to say “On that day the LORD will be one and his name one.” doesn’t seem necessary unless it’s meant to imply that the King, Messiah, and the LORD will be ONE and understood as such, “On that day.”

Jesus calls YHWH his God and Father. If Jesus is God how can God have a God? Let alone be born and die? Too many problems with this, try the simple unitarian creed of Jesus.

Jesus, as the Scripture states, being found in the likeness of man, humbled Himself as such and taught us obedience as it should be. The greatest witness to humility and the fear of God is given to us in the One who came in the likeness of flesh and blood, making Himself of no report, teaching us total and absolute dependence on and trust in God. All mankind is as grass when the Lord looks down from Heaven upon us, so the “Man”, Messiah, sent to witness to us subjected Himself to the same while He was flesh and blood. We do not have a High Priest that was not subject to every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord nor one that has not tasted of our infirmities, and so His compassion and mercy is remarkable in that He suffered Himself to walk among us, born for the sole purpose of redeeming us. If He was “just” a man, he would not have been the “spotless” sacrifice that the Lord required. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 1:18) the Son of God, the Son of Man and as the promised seed of the woman, the offspring of David; yet He is the root of David, as He was before him. Just as our Lord has borne the image of the earthly as we are, and was subject to the Heavenly, just as we are, through Him we will one day be thoroughly born again in His image; in an instant, in the twinkling of the eye.
I’ve a feeling that you are too far entrenched in and invested in your very focused area of study to want to hear anymore of my musings. I wish I had something to bring that would just astound you, but if what you find in the length and breadth of Scripture hasn’t done that then there is most likely nothing I can say to add to it. So, I suppose we will have to agree to disagree. But if ever something does light upon me, I’ll search you out, Chuck!

Yes I am. Just like Jesus was “entrenched” in his unitarian creed of the Shema and his Gospel message about the KOG.
