Dr. Brown Discusses the American Economy and Biblical Financial Principles with David Benham; and Kingdom Perspectives on the News and World Events.
Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: God’s Word is based on God’s eternal principles; they are not just spiritual truths, they are always eternal truths; they work in the natural, the spiritual, the home, and in the place of business. Live by the principles of the Word, go against the grain of society and the flesh, and you will be blessed and be a blessing!
Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: As we look at what has happened in Iran, we are reminded again of the incredible grace that God has shown us through Jesus. Those who have been forgiven much will love much. Let the world see what it means to be a forgiving, transformed, indebted by love people!
Go and Sin No More [mp3 series] and How To Be Led By The Spirit [mp3 series]
Benham Real Estate: David and Jason Benham, twin brothers and successful entrepreneurs, were both drafted by Major League Baseball to play professionally in 1998. Jason signed with the Baltimore Orioles, and David signed with the Boston Red Sox. After several seasons, the brothers retired and began their real estate carreers together in 2002. By 2003, they founded the Benham REO Group, a Charlotte-based real estate company that has grown to over 90 locations in 35 states.
The same timing, skill, and determination that once benefited them on the baseball field catapulted them to the top of the real estate industry in just five short years. Having sold/managed more than 8,000 properties for hundreds of clients ranging from large bank servicers to Wall Street firms to Government Sponsored Entertprises, the Benham REO Group has elevated to become one of the elite foreclosure brokerages in America.
Revolution in the Church: In a dynamic and lively writing style, Michael Brown expresses erroneous practices and beliefs popular today, challenging you to make some radical transformations. He explores the biblical pattern of leadership, what is and is not cultlike, the meaning of true discipleship, the Jewish roots of our faith and other provocative issues facing the Church today.
Revolution! [series on mp3 CD]
Revolution: The Call to Holy War by Dr. Brown: This book is not a call for the violent overthrow of the government, nor is it a call to take up arms, nor is it a call to political activism in and of itself. It is a call to something far more extreme, a call to live out the gospel…
How Saved Are We? by Dr. Brown: This unsettling book challenges us to ask ourselves what kind of born-again experience we have had if it calls for almost no personal sacrifice, produces virtually no separation from the world, and breeds practically no hatred of sin.
I don’t know what changed when you went to “One Place” but very often I can’t pick up your show there. Nothing. Just silence. As soon as your show is over the channel comes in again.
Can you fix it?
It says, “error #2032” if that helps.
Sheila, I have had that problem on occasion as well. Try restarting your browser (using Task Manager is a foolproof way to close the browser completely), and then re-opening it to listen again. It has always worked for me! Blessings!
I understand that the show may not have been playing properly at the beginning of the broadcast today, so that might have been the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.
As a small business owner, it was very encouraging to hear how biblical principles can be used in our business life. Our Christian belief should be like a light switch which is always in the “on” position.
I’ll try that, thanks Marcus!
Americans go wrong with money thinking that prosperity is a sign of blessing. The richest people are often godless. The poorest are often godly. Money doesn’t care who you are. There are ways to get it and all you have to do is learn those ways. As Christians our call is to go after God and trust Him to meet our needs, like a soldier trusts the army to feed him. The Benhams made their money selling foreclosures, which is a good business to be in at a time like this. Some businesses will grow now most will struggle sadly. Any business in any market is like that.
What we really need to do is live each day one at a time doing what is right and trusting God to take care of it all.
There’s more joy in giving up a house for the Lord than gaining many more because the joy stays.
You can relive it a hundred times.
I wonder if these guys are connected with the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowships.
