Does the Old Testament Predict a First and Second Coming of the Messiah?

[Download MP3]
Did the Old Testament prophesy one coming of the Messiah, or an initial coming, and His return? Be sure to tune in today as Dr. Brown sifts through the Old Testament verses regarding the Messiah of Israel!

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: May I challenge every follower of Jesus hearing my voice, who identifies him or herself as part of the family of God through Jesus, to do your best through your life, your testimony, and being full of the Spirit and of love, to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy!

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: The One who came, died, rose, and ascended to heaven is the only One who is sitting now at the right hand of God, waiting for His enemies to become a footstool under His feet, who will return in Glory and establish the kingdom of God on this earth and reign from Jerusalem. He came and did what He had to do; He will absolutely do the rest. So it is written, and so it shall be.

  1. Based on Zechariah 9:9 AND Daniel 7:13-14, YES. It’s not one or the other, Daniel and Zechariah were both true prophets and both of these prophecies will be fulfilled. In fact, Zechariah 9:9 has been fulfilled!

  2. Very amazing call and dialogue from Mosheh, I would love to hear more Jews call in. It’s a good sign to know that Jews ARE listening to this program, praise God!

  3. It seems to me there was a sort of rough picture of the Messiah that is given in the old Testament, with reoccurring themes and motifs. I think there is three major themes of Messiah…. that of a “Servant” that of a “King/Priest” and that of a Divine Figure (Daniel’s son of man) in hindsight we see as the Son of God.
