Come Out And Be Separate

For too long the world has changed the church, rather than the church changing the world. Dr. Brown puts forth a call to live a life that is radically different by the power of the Spirit!

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Now is the time for major, radical awakening, deep repentance, and a fresh encounter with God. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Let’s not make excuses or point fingers, or tell everyone else how wrong and bad they are. Let’s look in the mirror of the word of God; let’s see what we should look like and how we should live. Let’s take hold of the promises and potential of the Word living in us!

  1. With David Wilkerson’s passage, this message is underscored. See his “Anguish: UTube video as a sobering reminder of our need to walk the talk, as he did.

  2. I have just read a beautiful eulogy by a lady who went to Times Square Church

I hope the URL isn’t too long! The website is nationalreview.com and the lady is Nancy French. The article is called Remembering David Wilkerson.

Hey, tomorrow is THE WEDDING here in the UK. (Don’t pretend you don’t know which one!)As you gawp at the ceremonials, just think of the The wedding feast we’ll enjoy with Jesus.

  3. Sorry, but the wedding in UK does not impress me one bit. I just can not get into it. It doesn’t turn me on. Seriously, why should it?

As for David Wilkerson. He truly was a man of God, He understood the heart of Jesus. He was a lot like Jesus. Full of love and compassion.

Lord, even though I personnely never met David before, please say “Hello” for David from me. I know David touched a lot of people through you Lord. He got it right.

Smile all Jesus loves you!! 🙂

MYFOXNY.COM – Rev. David Wilkerson, founding pastor of Times Square Church in New York City and author of the best-selling book, “The Cross and the Switchblade,” has died. He was 79.

Texas Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Tela Mange says Wilkerson died Wednesday in a car accident in East Texas. Mange says Wilkerson’s car smashed head-on into a tractor-trailer rig after veering into another lane.

Wilkerson’s World Challenge Inc. ministries confirmed on its website that he “went to be with Jesus.”

Wilkerson founded the non-denominational Protestant church in 1987 in an area of Manhattan that was then riddled with X-rated movie houses, strip clubs, prostitution and drugs.

Wilkerson also founded Teen Challenge, which uses a biblically based recovery program for drug addicts.

His wife, Gwendolyn, was injured in the car accident as well as the driver of the truck that was involved in the accident.

Wilkerson posted a blog the day of his death. The post was called “When All Means Fail.”

“To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights, and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, “I am with you,'” Wilkerson wrote. “Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail-his love prevails. Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word. There is no other hope in this world.”

  5. Hello,i am just an outsider, but i would like to say the following :
    Revelation 3:4-5 ‘…..you have a people…who have not soiled their garments….’ !!! (NASB)
The Sardisian state of called-out ones in Britain and America is the fruit, not the root.
If we sow dandelions,we do not reap roses.
Though they may be well intentioned, dedicated, and have a zeal for God,if Calvinists are allowed to sow ‘Reformed Theology’ into peoples minds, rather than tackling them head on in loving contention for the faith once delivered,we reap multitudes of desalinated, disempowered disciples.
If authentic cross-carrying disciples want to see Britain and America peppered with flocks which adorn the teaching of God their Saviour, rather than bringing the way of truth into disrepute, then, instead of validating well-meaning but deficient teachers by labelling them as ‘Non-Charismatics’ and/or ‘Calvinists’,such folk need to be lovingly refuted and brought up to speed – following the example of Peter and John (Acts 8:14-25),and Paul (Acts 18:24 – 19:7 Romans 11:19-22 Galatians 5:19-21) and Jude(Jude 3-5).
Sow dandelions, reap the same – sow distorted versions of salvation, reap Sardisian flocks.
Two thousand years ago, they sorted it out – today, folk get labeled as Non-Charismatics’ and ‘Calvinists’ and allowed to unintentionally pepper the West with Sardisian flocks ( ‘ …a few people’…. !!!! ).

  6. Since the California state legislation insist and persist upon enacting immoral laws, they shall all hencefore legislate as vagabonds!
