  1. I wonder how former President Bush feels about his daughter supporting gay marriages? Obviously she does not fear the Lord to support such a sin.

Lord open up her eyes that she may speak for you and not against you.

First off I never heard of Chick-Fil-A. I had to do a search online to figure out what it is. Its a restaurant…LOL
If people eat there it should be because they are hungry not because they are making a statement that they are against gays. Games people play.

The gay community want to rule. But the problem is they can not over rule the Lord.
    Check out Malachi 3:2
But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap.

I think every Christian has the responsibility to evangelize. Every soul, every soul needs Jesus. WE NEED JESUS!!!!

  2. Oh yeah, I forgot to comment about this. Dr Brown welcome to my world. This winter for New England has been out of control. Winter wonderland. I feel bad for all the wild animals. Especially the wild turkeys. How can they eat when the ground has been covered with snow for over a month now? Sad.

  3. Great show!I thank it’s very important to stand with a company that has christian values.Companies that are moral and family based.Dr.Brown,I believe said that chic-fil-a,where he lives plays christian music.I have never been in a restaurant that does that.
There is not a chic-fil-a close to where I live but if we had one I would be taking my grandchildern there instead of another fast food restaurant.

  4. Right now, I am very jealous for the Word of the Lord. It is God’s decrees that will be upheld upon this earth, not man’s!

…Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

I am very anxious to see those hostile rioting in Egypt against President Hosni Mubarak be transpose positively for him. Must we forget that it was President Hosni Mubarak who petitioned to host a peace summit in his country for Israel and Palestine in 2010. That noble act by President Hosni Mubarak, notwithstanding his leadership of an Arab nation, has placed him under the blessings of the Almighty.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Psalm 122:6-8

President Hosni Mubarak has complied beyond the charge of these verses by his active participation in those peace summits. Did he have to do that? Now must he be punished by his people as a result? He will rightfully obtain what is promised to him by God’s own decree ~ prosperity, and I am jealous for that!

I can discern that the true instigators of this unrest are of the demonic spirit world. (Mark 8:33) They have realized before all of us, the blessings are to be bestowed upon President Hosni Mubarak, the President of an Arab nation, and the nation of Egypt as a result. Do you think the ‘Beast’ wants to see such a fulfillment of that Divine promise? No!

Examine the franticness of these rioters demanding the immediate remove of their own long-term President. Does it make any sense at all? The urgency of their situation is rather unnatural, but the prosperity for President Hosni Mubarak belongs to him regardless of the reality of his deposition. What the Egyptian people are unknowingly demanding is the removal of their own divinely promised prosperity. They are entitled to it through President Hosni Mubarak as their leader for his noble acts towards Israel and Palestine.

That brings me to another frantic situation. Compare to what is happening in the USA, Egypt look like they’re having a party! Not only is the United State of America under a Divine retribution for their wide spread promotion of immorality, specifically the homosexual agenda, their supposed role as prince over other nations has not been given unto them. That role belongs to the Lion of the Lord’s whelp ~ Israel!

Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? Genesis 49:8-9

For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. Isaiah 31:4

As our Leaders and nation are under currently Divine retribution for their erroneous immoral ways, they are unable to speak prudently to President Hosni Mubarak. Please, Mr. President Obama, take care of your crumbling country! People are dying needlessly! You know what you need to do!

Listen Up ~ Israel! You are that royal diadem in the hand of the Lord!

For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. Isaiah 62:1-4

    Amen!

  5. Pamela,

Could you elaborate on what you mean by this?:

“As our Leaders and nation are under currently Divine retribution for their erroneous immoral ways, they are unable to speak prudently to President Hosni Mubarak. Please, Mr. President Obama, take care of your crumbling country! People are dying needlessly! You know what you need to do!”

Also, you said: “Examine the franticness of these rioters demanding the immediate remove of their own long-term President. Does it make any sense at all?”

It makes good sense to me and I don’t view this grassroots uprising as demonic. Because we were born under a democratic form of government, we would have no idea what it would be like to live under a dictatorship that’s lasted for 30 years. The wealth in Eygpt is so disparate that those protestors probably make about 4 dollars a day; there are no jobs to be had, and they live hand to mouth on a daily basis. They have no vote, no say so in who runs their country and I think it brave of them to rise up. Would you say that the Civil Rights Movement was demonic? Yet, those who were oppressed in our country rose up and demanded to be heard and they changed American history. What is demonic, possibly, is the repression of people’s freedoms and civil rights. We gauge things from our own perspective while living under the freedoms we take for granted in these United States. These protestors don’t have that luxury. These demonstrations were peaceful until a night ago when pro-Mubarak demonstrators showed up. Coincidence–I don’t think so.

And instead of cursing our nation with our mouths, I think we should be doing what we are supposed to be doing, as Dr. Brown and Mr. Oden pointed out—take the Gospel to your fellow Americans! Pray for our country and then go out and make a difference.

  6. Dr. Brown,

Can you hook me up with free resources that can help me to be a better witness for Jesus? It seems to me to be the most important thing I can do to make a difference. In fact, Mr. Oden should give his booklet away for the cost of shipping and handling. Or, at the least for a donation of any amount. I wish I had a million dollars, but, the truth is I don’t, but, I would like to be the best witness that I can be.

    Thanks,

    Sheila

  7. Sheila,
I just want to say I think your spirit is so adorable. Lord Bless Sheila and continue to use her for you kingdom.

  8. I agree Bo,I don’t know of any other business that shuts down on sunday any more.Funny song.
Sheila makes a good point concerning the situation in Eygpt.I don’t know much about it but it may not be a good thing for Israel though.Mubarak has kept the pease with Israel.
Concerning the christian population there,I believe they have been oppressed under mubarak’s reign. Please correct me if I am wrong.

  9. Interesting bit of info here about Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-fil-A’s connection to Christianity has been brought before the courts when Aziz Latif, a Houston-based Muslim employee for 6 years, sued the company in 2002 for firing him, alleging that he was fired for his religious beliefs when he had refused to take part in an employee prayer. The suit was settled on undisclosed terms.

  10. Hello debbie,I don’t know the situation about the lawsuit against chic-fil-a but I know if you stand for Christ satan will come against you.

  11. Thanks, Debbie.

Let’s all of us pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Israel!

    “The Earth is the Lord’s”

  12. Bob T,

I don’t know that the government represses Christianity in Egypt, but, radical Islamists certainly don’t like them. Don’t you remember the Church that was attacked this past Christmas? A suicide bomber attacked after mass. Many Christians lost their lives.

Pray for the persecuted Church members everywhere.

  13. Sheila,I do remember the attack on the Church. You are right,we should always remember to pray for the persecuted Church members everywhere.

  14. Ezekiel 3:17-19

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and bring them warning from me. When I say to a wicked person, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.”

This is a call to speak out. Here is encouragement for the consequences of speaking out:

    Matthew 5:10-12

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, because theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

I might add: In the same way they tore apart our Lord and Saviour and nailed him to a cross. This is not to cause anger at the lost. They are that: the LOST. They need Jesus just as much as we do. Like God said in Ezekiel, we need to warn them of their sin; however, I feel that we can do it in a loving way.

  15. My, my. I had no idea the things Ravenhill taught are the very things burning in my own heart. I just recently posted something very similar to what VOR quoted by him. The Lord works in mysterious ways indeed. He’s led me to Ravenhill to make me a better witness! His book is not exactly free literature, but, I’ll keep my tattered blue jeans a while longer and break my piggy bank!

Ravenhill from an article on VOR–“The moral desolation in America and the stagnation in America is not due to the strength of Humanism, it’s because of the weakness of evangelism.”

    Amen to that!

I felt the same burden when I recently poured out my heart in these words:

“So, what do we want our land healed of? It’s not that secular humanism is gaining ground; no, it’s that we have handed it over to them. We act as if we are outnumbered. Are we? We are certainly outmaneuvered; I can’t argue with that. Do we not still have freedom of speech? Do we not still have freedom of assembly? There are more professing Christians in America than there are athiests and humanists. But we have laid down our weapons and surrendered. Or, more correctly, we never even engaged the enemy. We are sitting on the sideline and lamenting; “Oh, woe is me!” Yes, woe are we. We are woefully retreating into our cushy lives of complacency and we are embittered servants cursing our nation while blaming the satan for gaining ground. He could gain nothing except we hand it to him on a silver platter. “More powerful is the One who is within us and fighting for us than they who are in the world.” Wake up from this era of lamentation! We lament the many ills of our society, yet, we don’t care to be a part of the cure. We have forgotten that “Wherever two or more are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Has God left the building? Has the Holy Spirit departed this earth? Do we not serve the Living God? We are all members of the same Body. We are not our own, we belong to the Lord. Will He forsake His own body? We are His hands and feet and we should speak His words and do His works. But, we do not. And the voice of the earthly sheperds and of the earthly churches of our own making is disconsonant and uncertain as they are, for the most part, each sounding off with their own trumpets. Where is the unity within the Church? Paul would feel disgraced to find us in such a state as we are in. We have all but deserted those who are dying for the Gospel and those who are working for the Kingdom. We are all going our own way, seeking earthly sheperds to lead us, having forsaken the Bishop and Shepherd of our souls. We need unity in order to move forward. We have this doctrine and that doctrine; we are of this persuasion and that persuasion. Could we not all be persuaded to return to our common denominator and return to our first love and cry out to Him with one voice? As He promised, He has never left us, nor, forsaken us; it is we who have forsaken Him and have left off building up and filling the true Church and the everlasting Kingdom.”

  16. Due to the recent attacks on a pipeline that supplies gas to the nation of Israel, all those anti-Israel protestors, as well as, all protestors against any individuals who supports the nation of Israel will no longer be able to rise up to protest against the nation of Israel nor against any individual who supports the nation of Israel for they have in essence touched the apple of the Almighty’s eye!

Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me. Zechariah 2:7-9

  17. Why does anyone care what Miss Bush has to say? After all her only notable accomplishment thus far is being related to a former president.

  18. Have you ever considered about including a little bit
more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
But imagine if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with pics and videos, this blog
could certainly be one of the best in its niche. Excellent blog!
