  1. So why is it that there is not outrage expressed by the Muslims whose mosque is destroyed by another Muslim?

I suppose that they don’t want to say to other Muslims anything like..”Come let us reason together. If you have anything against us, please talk to us first before you destroy our buildings…etc.

But then maybe that would be too real.

And why is that so often people caught up in religion have so much trouble being real? I suppose they want to stay true to their religion rather than get real.

There are basicly two generations in the Bible just as the Bible is basicly about two men, the first Adam and the Last Adam which we know of as the Lord Jesus Christ.

I think it’s going to take all the judgments of God to save as many as shall be saved in the end time. The preaching of the gospel should help as many who will hear it to choose to repent and be saved by the grace of the Lord. But as Jesus said about the children of this world, they are wiser in their generation than the children of light and that wisdom is justified of her children. (Matt 11:19, Luke 7:35, Luke 16, (compare Luke 16 with Proverbs 26:4,5)

It seems to me that the Lord Jesus answered those who were wise in their own conceits (about worldly things, mammon for example) by saying to them to make friends with unrighteous mammon (Luke 16) to get them to think about the end of those things that they decide to so attach themselves to, for they corrupt and turn to dust, having had their value for a while, but end up in everlasting corruption, never to rise again in any kind of glory, or to have any kind of meaningful existence ever again.

So often a wise man will not answer a fool according to his folly lest he become tangled up in it as the fool is in it. But as Jesus is the word of God, I think this is one time in which he decided to answer fools according to their way of thinking and doing in order to live in accord to Proverbs 26:5, and to cause them to think about their ways which end in destruction.

The Bible is also basicly about two kinds of wisdom, the wisdom of God and the wisdom of the world.

  2. I’m so glad the program mentioned and warned about Rabbi Eckstein’s IFCJ. Rabbi Eckstein has made it clear that “people like myself aren’t going to work with [Messianic Jews]” (http://www.forward.com/articles/5079/). Rabbi Eckstein has also called “evangelization efforts directed towards Jews is based upon ‘anti-Semitic prejudices,’ tantamount to ‘spiritual genocide,'” (http://www.ministrywatch.com/profile/International-Fellowship-of-Christians-and-Jews.aspx). He also denies the ability to be a Jew and a believer in Jesus–so I guess sorry Dr. Brown and my friends at Shuvah Yisrael (http://www.ctlibrary.com/ct/2009/february/27.32.html). This has led to his refusal to provide aid to Messianic Jews in the former Soviet Union, and a warning to others not to be associated with the Messianics.

The man is not the devil, and yes he is doing good works. But Dr. Brown was right–our money should not be going to one who is only about aliyah to the land and not shuvah to God.

  3. Thanks for responding to my e-mail!! I don’t understand the comment of “we should try to identify best if they are male or female”, isn’t that difficulty to determine having physical characteristics of both? Sorry if this sounds offensive, I am learning about the subject.

  4. Charles,

In the vast majority of cases, they will have either male or female chromosomes. Also, in many cases, as the kids begin to mature (and if they haven’t had surgery yet), they intuitively know who they are and begin to identify as male or female, making it easier for corrective surgery to be done. (This would be in contrast to someone who both bodily and chromosomally was male and felt he was female — hence, “transgender” but really suffering from what is called Gender Identity Disorder.)
