  1. The gathering of the Jewish and Arab youth to worship Jesus, the Son of God, therein the State of Israel prefigures, to me, the glories to come. In the times when God had chosen for himself a people, the Israelites were basically the keepers of the ways of righteousness upon the earth, but now the gospel has traveled all over the earth. Every where one goes, you can find gentile believers, and these gentile believers will desire everything that God has laid out in the Bible – including being a part of the 144,000 (those who follows the Lamb where ever He goes). I had always felt that the northern kingdom of Israel must have been very very displeasing to God for Him to cast them off like that, but I now can see a very far-reaching divine wisdom and beauty behind it. God will bring them, the descendents of the northern Israelite kingdom, back to the promise land to be joined once again with the Jews.

    Ezekiel 37:19
Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

The beauty that I see is in the composition of the people of those tribes of Israel. Its human nature to intermarriage with those whom one dwells among, and according to Bible examples, those Israelites’ family bloodlines are inclusive not exclusive. In the future, when we begin to behold the assembly of Ephraim; I think we are going to be very pleasantly surprised for represented there will probably be families from every ethnicity upon this earth. All a part of God’s Chosen people. Was that what God intended? If so, that’s very beautiful, so all you gentile believers don’t have to feel jealous and left out for there is going to be representatives from your ethnicity among them.

(As for the 144,000, they were resurrected with Christ and have followed the Lamb to where He is right now.)

  2. Pamela, The stick of Joesph and Ephriam? Perhaps via pan Israel theory, perhaps not. One other qualifier of the 144,000 of the Revelationthe 144,000 (in addition to your offered qualifier beign those who follows the Lamb where ever He goes) is clear enough, that they be of one of the 12 tribes, composing 12,000 each of the 144,000. Is there anything probematic for you being of the great multitude, without number, who wash their robes in the blood of the lamb, and are martyred for their testimony? Or is it important to be of the pan Israel theory you have cited? in order to be included?

  3. The chosen church replacement theory of the Israelites is a modern day false doctrine, but I’ll take eternal life any way I can get it!

  4. Thank you for your clarification on my question, Pamela, for it certainly appeals to our vanity to be of the fleshly “sticks” or of the church replacement theories floating around out there in Hebrew roots paradise, so to speak. I would not wish that assumption on anyone not of the 12 tribes.

  5. PS I do not hold according to scripture that the 144,000 have already been resurrected, and are ascended to heaven. Where do you get this stuff?

  6. We have to wait until it has been brought up as a topic on Dr. Brown’s show before we can discuss it ~ you know the rules!!!
