  1. I didn’t see where I could click on something to begin downloading this talk, so I didn’t hear it.

It seems to me that if a man eternally trust in Jesus, he will have some kind of eternal security.

It may be that he will know that Jesus is always right, that his righteousness is true, that his kingdom will endure, that Jesus has overcome, that
Jesus does save, that Jesus is love, that Jesus will always serve God, that Jesus will never fail, or some other such riches that will endure.

To all the homesexuals who have served in the armed forces of the United States, I wish to say “Thank You”.

Thank you for the long hours of training you endured. Thank you for your sacrifice when you did so. Thank you for enduring the rain when it was hard, the cold and the heat. Thank you for being ready with your equipment and weapons. Thank you for doing your best when you did so.
    Thank you for your service.

I sincerely hope that in the future the United States will not have homosexuals serving in any of it’s armed forces.

I served in the armed forces, and they did not enforce any hetrosexuality upon me. I was not issued a wife. There was no sexuality they forced upon me though they did relieve a guard for kissing his wife when he was on guard duty, restrict women in the barracks, forbid our presence at certain places of entertainment where liquor and other things were served, and do many other things that were wise and sometimes necessary for the overall good of the military and their God given purpose because of the fall of man.

  2. Morality is a reality that is very important to see. If God were not morally perfect, then like Paul said, we truly are miserable creatures. But because God is all-loving, He will bless His chosen people with everlasting Life.

1 Cor. 15:12-20 “Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.”

  3. I’m currently in the armed forces and really don’t like the way this is going. I can’t really understand all of the core values and morals that the military instills to its’ service members, and yet will entertain the idea to allow a sexual immorality (homosexual practice) and not another e.g. adultery. Both are sexual immoral sins plain and simple, there is no need for an explanation for it. If I were a known outspoken adulterous person i would be reprimanded. Even if I were a good worker and didn’t bother anybody with my views(sexual immorality-adultery). I would get into trouble by the laws mandated by the uniform code of military justice. So, why is it that an open gay person will be permitted to stay in the military and not get reprimanded???? He/she will be in sexual immoral sin, and I’m sure they will be good workers and not bother anyone with there views (sexual immorality-homosexuality) in the work space. Crazy how the enemy works his mischief and so many are lead astray. Let’s pray for those who are in homosexual practice (sexual immorality)and Jesus will reveal himself to them.

  4. If God does not exist, then I guess homosexuality is OKAY. But God does exist and He acts as a paradigm for ultimate GOODNESS. Therefore it follows that we have moral values and duties and accountability before Him. God created woman for man, and not homosexuals. Ask God if it’s okay, and I guarantee you that he’ll say no. If there is no God, then we can’t condemn the Nazi people that brought about the holocaust. If the Nazi people won World War II and brainwashed and exterminated everybody then I guess there is No God to condemn their actions. But God does exist and the Nazi people have a moral accountability before God, and we do to. Thank God for His Love.

  5. oops i meant “their” as oppose to “there” in the (11) line in the statement above…. sorry about that

  6. I guess the Euthyphro Dilemma is a good argument. God does not do what is good only because He is the Ultimate Powerful One, but because He is the Ultimate Powerful One and the Ultimate Good One. Anything less than that is not God. God is the standard of perfection and the example of goodness. We do the thing that is good because God is a good God.

  7. In my statement on May 30, at 3:51 pm, I meant to write “But God does exist and the Nazi people have a moral accountability before God, and we do TOO.”

  8. Roland,
God bless you for being vigilent. It seems to me that political pressure exercised an ungodly influence upon our military forces concerning this matter. I trust it will be revealed in time and eventually righteousness will win. Till then we suffer.

One would not pair up a male and a female soldier to dig a fighting position and spend the long cold night in it together, would one?

  9. On an unrelated issue, the IDF should have waited until the “Floatilla” was in Israeli waters before the ships were stormed. This would of somewhat mitigated the embargo action however regardless of what Israel does, the hatemongers will always take an angle against Zion. I pray for President Netanyahu and the house of Jacob. I pray that the facts will come out along with the smuggled arms on the ships to vindicate our beloved Israel.

    Shalom

  10. Jesus never places the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the gathering up of believers
from earth, before, in the middle, or at the end of the 70th week. Think of the countless hours of research, preaching, articles, and books by believers vainly trying to prove a pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation rapture. These interpretations are not in scripture. Let’s remember, the 70th week of Daniel is never called the tribulation period (Dan. 9:24). When Jesus says ‘after the tribulation of these days’, He is referring to the first five seals on the outside of the heavenly scroll. Jesus will open the 4th seal in the middle of the 70th week (Rev. 6:7-8, Mat. 24:9-15). The Son of Man will come back after He opens the 6th seal (Mark 13:24-27). This proves the gathering up of the elect at His coming must happen sometime in the second half of the 70th week; no man knows the exact day or hour (Mat. 24:36).

  11. Why Impose Your Morals on Homosexuals? Well, check out what I just experienced.

As I was in the check out line of the CVS, there was a customer in front of me, one aside of me, and one behind me. The Cashier was speaking to the customer in front of me in a loud voice saying….”Who cares who is Gay, if you are Gay it doesn’t bother me one way or another, let people be the way they want to be”. When I heard him say that, I spoke out, what came out of my mouth was this…”The Lord Cares!” The customer aside of me quickly turned around and gave me a look that said…How dare you. Then the Cashier say to me…Well, I’m not the Lord.” I said…”Well, someday you are going to meet the Lord face to face, whether you like it or not.” The Cashier got so quiet and humble. He said…”Well, I have nothing to hide in front of the Lord.”

We then changed the subject in a very friendly way.
I was so pumped when I left the store. Thank you Lord for using me. Praise your Holy name. Any time Lord, anytime.

Got to plant the seeds of truth.
I tell you, that one lady who looked at me did not like what I said. Convict her Lord.

  12. “What’s so bad about __________ ? It’s not like I’m killing anyone! I’m not hurting anyone — why can’t I do it?”

Adam ate from the tree he wasn’t supposed to eat from; it was enough to result in spiritual death. What’s the matter? He wasn’t murdering anyone (except himself). He hurt GOD — that’s the point. The measure of wrongness isn’t whether humans are hurt; the measure of wrongness is whether it is “hurting” God (not a human), or not.
That single sin caused all humans to be born into spiritual deadness (Eph 2:1) — and, in our fallen (sinful) state, humans have gone into a plethora of other sins.
If you said his sin doesn’t look that harmful, keep in mind that it still caused his death; how much more ___________, which people justify as being “not that bad” (not hurting anyone)?
God is offended by it; that is why it causes loss of LIFE: the only Source of LIFE is HIM; if we are separate from Him (by disobeying His Truth, as Adam & Eve), we’ll die.
For a short window of time, mercy on our sins that bring about our own deaths (2 Tim 2:25) is being extended through Jesus Christ: let’s repent, and return to LIFE (Rom 6:13).

    Love

  13. Dr. Michael Brown,
@ min 29:59, you said “I’m not out to save my life”

Do you not obey God for the salvation of your life? Please clarify… searching for application of a correct life viewpoint…

    Thank you

  14. I wonder if Eve considered that eating from the tree that she was not to eat from, would hurt anyone.

Is it self-justification that causes someone to say (when what they do is wrong) that what they do doesn’t hurt anyone?

Sin will never be justified before God.

    ———————————————-
    God only justifies sinners.

  15. Some things should be said with a straight face.

I remember how it’s been said that context is everything.
