  1. Dr. Brown, please read this book (see link): “The Two Harvests: An Ancient Rapture Paradigm” https://amzn.to/2GUAJAW It is only 72 pages long but it succinctly refutes the idea of a single rapture (of any type). There will be TWO main raptures of believers (not counting the two witnesses and 144k). BOTH pre-trib and post-trib advocates make important points that need not be at odds with each other. But BOTH sides err greatly in conflating 1 Thess. 4:16-17 with 1 Cor. 15:50-54 and Matt. 24:31. You argue that the trump of God in 1 Thess. 4 is the same as that of 1 Cor. 15:50-54. But have you thought about WHEN the last trump sounds? Here’s a clue, go back to Isaiah 25:8 which Paul quotes in 1 Cor. 15:54. What is the context of “death is swallowed up in victory”? When does it happen? Answer the question and you will understand why you are mistaken. Shalom, Gray

  2. Meant to add: the trump of God in 1 Thess. 4:16-17 is foreshadowed in Exodus 19:16-20. Note carefully that it is God Himself who descends in the cloud to meet with Moses, whereas in Matt. 24:31 it is the angels who gather the elect. There are 3 rapture-related trumpet calls: the first trump is the trump of God in 1 Thess. 4:16-17, a.k.a the “First Trump” (cf. tradition of Jews on the feast of Shavuot) foreshadowed by the trumpet call of Exodus 19 which gets louder and louder, i.e., it is supernatural and blown by God Himself, after which the bride of Christ will be raptured. The second trumpet is the “Great Trumpet” of Matt. 24:31 at which the remnant that is still alive after the tribulation but before the Day of the Lord will be raptured. The third trumpet is the “Last Trump” on Yom Teruah, which is identical with the 7th trump of Revelation when all believers according to their rank will have their bodies glorified. So the sequence is: pre-trib rapture (1 Thess. 4), pre-wrath rapture (Matt. 24:31) and then finally glorification of bodies for both (1 Cor. 15:50-54).

  3. “Can you criticize Jewish people without being anti-Semitic. Absolutely.”

Actually, you absolutely can’t. And Dr. Brown proves this every time he addresses the issue, every time someone brings up some legitimate point or fact that makes Jews look bad.
