Martin Luther was an intriguing personage. I happen to believe that he was a very deranged individual. If we have to resort to rationalizing something, it’s usually not a good sign. In the end, I don’t think we can defend him. He believed that Christ was a sinner and that the Lord had liaisons with women. This was not a man of God.
