  1. I believe the mask has been taken off of the biased media. And I do believe the media is primarily at fault for the protests we are seeing now after the election.

Here is why. The biased media inaccurately potray president-elect Donald Trump as a racist and sexist. They do so by purposely misquoting him.

    As examples,

When Donald Trump says “We are going to secure our borders to stop illegal immigration.”

The media reports it as “We are going to secure our borders to stop immigration.” Leaving out the key word of ‘illegal’. He doesn’t want to stop immigration, he wants to stop illegal immigration.

Or Donald Trump will say “We are going to combat radical Islam.”

The media will report it as “Donald Trump to combat Islam!” leaving out the vital word of ‘radical’. They do it on purpose. And since the left typically listen to liberal media, it’s all they hear and all they know. Misinformation. So they take to the streets honestly believeing that America has elected a racist, sexist, Islamaphobe.

What we are seeing now after the election is a tantrum being thrown by those protesting. And in all actuality, they are protesting democracy. Our country has democratically elected our next president, and they are protesting against that democratic outcome. It saddens me to see this level of misunderstanding, and I do see a lot of the blame belonging to the manipulative, biased media.

  2. Hi Benjamin!

I’m so glad I could catch one of your posts as I haven’t got the hang of Dr. Brown’s new website yet and am finding it more difficult to navigate. You know how us “old people” are, not as keen on change.. 🙂

I’ve been working up a post for Facebook even though I was going to let the election results pass without comment the vitriolic memes and grossly exaggerated sense of doom that’s been propagated since the election finally wore me down.

What I’m finding hard to believe is that the greater majority of those posting don’t seem to have any idea of “why” Christians voted for Donald Trump. It amazes me on the one hand, but then I realized that they really are out of touch with the concerns we have and for the most part they don’t even “see” what’s really happening to Religious Freedom in our country. One of the things that makes me the saddest is the myriad of posts from women worried that they’ll lose their right to abortion on demand! In the end it came down to the vacant seat on the Supreme Court and who I felt would better fill that vacancy.

I hope you’re doing well! Keep the faith, Benjamin, keep the faith!

    Sheila Caldon
