Regarding the culture wars, we have to realize that these people who compare the Christian cause for morality to the causes of the segregationists, the slaveholders, what have you, are simply using useful rhetoric, and they do not actually believe that there is really a valid comparison. So it’s almost pointless to even argue with them.
Moreover, the bigger issue is this: We have to wake up to the fact that the Left does not actually care about the rights of gays. What the Left is doing is simply utilizing its newest implement, gay rights, to destroy Christian culture. Leftism’s only cause is the destruction of Christian culture and its supplanting. They will use homosexuality, Islam, whatever, to achieve that, and they defend those ideologies only insofar as advocacy of them delivers victory against Christendom.
