Question: should marijuana become legal? I just want to share from a perspective of someone married to someone with Parkinson’s. The cannabis plant helps those with this debilitating disease, so medically, I want to have it available for my husband. To have the government ‘owning’ the rights to it, and the fact that Monsanto wants to own a big part of the worlds marijuana, along with Soros…who are already looking into GMOing it….well, I believe God put many of the herbs here for healing. I don’t want it alterned from it’s natural state, I don’t want government having control over it. No, I don’t believe we should take anything to get ‘high.’ However, I do believe in alternative medicine, and although I hate having my husband taking synthetic/man made medication for his disease, I also believe in that, but avoid it as much as I can. So, while I do absolutely do not believe marijuana should be taken lightly, as it can alter, and much of the ‘street’ marijuana is cut with different chemicals to make it more dangerous, I want natural, cannabis available for those suffering with cancer, or Parkinson’s’ or any other disease it may help.
I am in a state where it is legal. I take the point of view that the liberals talk about choice, in yet choice is only what they want. If you want choice- it is a choice in all directions.
Let me rephrase that- I want a choice on guns/ on getting or not getting vaccinated. On school choice/ On who I can sell my cakes to/ I want choice in religious areas/ In yet the liberals only give you no choice in what they decide to do to babies. If you want medical herbs that is your choice. Government can not claim pro choice and then take away all choice except in the womb. We need to stand up and make this a free country again.
