  1. Why do Christians continue to talk about themselves as being broken, dirty, filthy, sinners, without worth even after being saved. We have been changed we are not these things anymore. New creatures in Christ yet they still talk about themselves as lost. Your take on this Dr. Brown.

  2. Hello Brannon, I’m interested in Dr. Brown’s response as well. When a person is born again it is his/her spirit that is born again, you still have your own fleshly desires to deal with. Paul tell us in Galatians 5:13-26 to crucify our flesh. James 1:14-15 tells us we are tempted by our own evil desires. So you can understand why a person who continues to repeat the same sin over and over would feel so miserable. For years I thought it was the Devil tempting me with such sins, not myself. If we don’t realize it is our own sin nature taking us down this path we will never get a handle on it.

    Hope this helps.
