re: Isaac Newton on “The End”
According to a BBC documentary (minute 54:04 of the copy of “Newton: The Dark Heretic” I have), Isaac Newton predicted it would be in 2060 – not 2000.

I think the Holy Spirit puts in us that sense of the imminent return of the Lord so that we will be ready. I do feel that sense that the Lord could return at any time but I have never felt “paralyzed” or put off doing things. Because we DONT know the day or the hour. That sense of imminency SHOULD fill us with an urgency for winning souls for Christ! Maybe the real problem is our self-centeredness (how it’s going to affect ME.)
