  1. Hope he meant to say, “Jesus is still on the throne.”

    Hillary Clinton was heard to say that some religious thinking about marriage has to change.

    No, Hillary, YOU have to change.

  2. Homosexual marriage is one of the final symptoms of a deadly disease in society. It occurred to me the other day, and this was before I knew that the supreme court was about to hear this case, that the days of the coming of the Son of Man would be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot.

    Luke 17
    26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
    27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
    28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
    29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
    30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
    31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
    32 Remember Lot’s wife.
    33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
    34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
    35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
    36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
    37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

    At first glance the above passage about Noah’s day is saying that everything will be going on as normal and then suddenly, when no one expects it, the Son of Man will return. But then I noticed that there is something else that is in the text…marrying and giving in marriage. It definitely is something that normally goes on but there is something that is said back in Genesis that is instructive. It speaks of the earth filled with violence.

    Ge 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
    2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
    3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
    4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
    5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
    6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
    7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
    8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
    9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
    10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
    11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
    12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
    13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

    What kind of violence? The Hebrew word means evil, wrong, cruelty and injustice. The word is “Chamas.” The same pronunciation of the word by which the Islamic enemies of Israel are called. The earth was filled with hamas. But in Genesis the word is in the context of marriage. Marriage of Son’s of God (angels) and the daughters of men. The offspring was wicked and violent. The hearts of men were only evil continually. Their lust was insatiable.

    But Noah’s generations were pure and not defiled with angelic blood, while the rest of the earth was corrupt and filled with violence. What kind of violence. Violence toward YHWH’s design in marriage. All other kinds of violence, to be sure, but specifically toward pure marriage. The word Chamas is used in this same context in Malachi.

    Mal 2:13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
    14 Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
    15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
    16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
    17 Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

    Our world and our county and even the church has been filled with this kind of violence for a long time. Now we are beginning to reap what we have sown. The Church has done violence to YHWH’s design for marriage. How can we expect it to not be carried further by a culture that has no light being shown to them by YHWH’s people? Our light is under a bushel basket. We are the ones that started calling evil good and good evil in the area of marriage, divorce and remarriage. We have been covering chamas/violence with a very thin garment and think that YHWH does not see through it. He sees. He judges. He lets our leaders give us what our evil thoughts (reprobate minds) deserve…a reprobate lawless world.

    Homosexuality is violence against YHWH’s design. It is violence against nature. It is violence against real marriage. It is many times very violent against it’s sexual partners. Enter the days of Lot.

    Ge 18:16 And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
    17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
    18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
    19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
    20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
    21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
    21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
    22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
    23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
    24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?…
    32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.
    33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
    19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
    2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant’s house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
    3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
    4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
    5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
    6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
    7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
    8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
    9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
    10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
    11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
    12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
    13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
    14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

    Violence had taken hold of Sodom and Gomorrah. Violence against YHWH’s design for marriage. Violence against righteousness. Violence against nature…and even physical violence that always manifests when we give ourselves over to our own lusts instead of obedience to YHWH. These men wanted angels. They wanted men instead of virgin young women. They would stop at nothing to satisfy their lusts.

    Ge 19:12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whomsoever thou hast in the city; bring them out of the place:
    13 for we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
    14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy the city. But he seemed unto his sons in law as one that mocked.

    Why did YHWH tell Abraham what He was about to do? Because He trusted Abraham to raise his family correctly in YWHH’s law instead of lawlessness. Abraham negotiated down to 10 righteous. The cities would have been spared if Lot had just raised his family correctly. There were exactly 10 souls that Lot had direct family relationship with. Scripture indicates that he had sons, that is 2 minimum. He had sons in law, that is 2 minimum. If he had sons in law, he had 2 married daughters. He had 2 virgin daughters. He had his wife and himself…2. 10 minimum that he was supposed to have shown YHWH’s light to…but he “seemed to them as though he mocked.”

    The statistics are now conclusive that the churched are losing their children. Christianity is walking in the ways of Lot instead of Abraham. We have shown that we cannot even raise our children to follow Him. Do you think that He will withhold judgment this time?

    Just as in the days of Noah and Lot, we have failed to submit to YHWH’s design for marriage. A lot of marriage is going on…second, third, fourth, and homosex marriage, but it is violence against YHWH and against our neighbors. We are going on with life as usual, building and planting and marrying, while we destroy the foundation of marriage and harvesting a crop of unfaithfulness in our children.

    Mt 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

    Ge 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

    Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

    Ge 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
    18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
    19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

    Are we Abraham’s children if we do not do the works of Abraham? I doubt it. Children of Lot maybe, but not children of Abraham. YHWH just may have to raise up stones to be Abraham’s children. It is very close to being as the days of Noah and Lot. You can either be like Noah who was able to convince his whole family to be saved or you can be like Lot who lost his whole family. Both of these men are called righteous men in the scripture, but one did his job much better than the other. One blessed the whole world with life. The other cursed all of his neighbors. Which one are we like really?

    If you are not like Abraham and Noah, you will soon know how much you are like Lot. If you are like Noah and Abraham, you will do whatever it takes to at least save your family…even if it means not sending them to Sodom and Babylon to go to school. Stop choosing the well watered valleys of prosperity and cultural acceptance. Chose the solitary desert that Abraham did, even if it means cutting off all relationships with those that are actually corrupting your children…even church relationships…even church itself.

    We started at the end of Luke 17. Here is what follows:

    Luke 18
    1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
    2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
    3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
    4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
    5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
    6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
    7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
    8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
    9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
    10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
    11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
    12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
    13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
    14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

    When the Son of Man returns, it will be like the days of Noah and Lot, but will He find faith/faithfulness on the earth? Will we and our children be caught unaware or will we be some of the faithful at confessing our sins, instead of comparing ourselves to others. Will we be pleading for real justice in the earth, or will we have it exacted upon us?

    So we can stand and pray, “I thank thee that I am not like Chamas.” while perpetrating or at least going along with chamas/violence against YHWH’s marriage design or we can beat on our chests and repent of our guilt in divorce and remarriage.

    If the salt has lost its savor, how will it be salted?

    Shalom

  3. Comments on the EU’s Head of Security, Federica Mogherini, saying that “political Islam” is the “future of europe” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fq4Ph4QDdfw ?

    Christianity (which will merely relay the idea that homosexual practices are sinful) is unacceptable in the West, but Islam (which will actually put homosexuals to death for practicing homosexuality) is somehow OK.

  4. It occurred to me that the world has only seen two sinless men (Adam and Messiah), and that each were given a wife (Eve to Adam, and the Church to Messiah). Since sin is the suppression of the Truth about God [Ro 1:18], righteousness must be the revelation of the Truth about God for His glory (rather than revelation of self for one’s own glory); therefore, these sinless men (their wives having been formed out of their own bodies) were the most accurate portrayals of God the earth had ever seen. Heterosexual marriage is a revelation, thus glorification, of the Creator–an accurate portrayal of God.
    What is left for homosexuality is the term “inaccurate portrayal”, which can also be deemed “bearing false witness”: for the Christian, homosexuality is, unavoidably, a love and revelation of self for the glory of self [Jn 5:41-43; 1 J 2:15,16], a suppression of the Truth and Glory of God, an “inaccurate portrayal” of God or a (blasphemous) “false witness” about God.

  5. Deuteronomy 12
    30″…you [shall] not inquire about their gods, saying,
    ‘How did these nations serve their gods—that I also may do the same?’
    31″You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods…”

    1 Corinthians 10
    20″…what pagans sacrifice, they offer to demons and not to God.”

    These “abominable” acts issue from demons (are the work of demons), men do them in service to demons, and they are done for the pleasure of demons.
    The Son of God was sent to destroy these works (when people sin, it is “sin” working the works in them [Ro 7:17]) [1 J 3:8], because God is furious about the works [Ro 1:18; Ep 5:6]; thus, to attribute the works of a demon / sin to our Dad is to blaspheme Him and to utter false testimony against Him. To assert that God is OK with these works in the life of a believer is NOT merely to claim He is “OK” with them; it is to assert that He, Himself, authored them because He enjoys it when people do those works as if He wanted to be served that way [Pp 2:12,13].

    Malachi 3
    13“Your words have been hard against Me,”
    says the Lord.
    “But you say,
    ‘How have we spoken against you?’”

    A possible response for this situation:
    “You say that I cause men to do things I despise as if I were pleased with those acts–with being served that way.”

    It’s soooo far from the Truth. So far. God help us.
