Jesus and Paul Call Us to Judge

[Download MP3]

Dr. Brown opens the Word to see what the Scriptures have to say about making judgments. What did Jesus mean when He said, “Judge not?” and what did He mean when He said, “Make righteous judgments?” And what about Paul’s call for believers to judge fellow-believers but not non-believers? Listen live here 2-4 pm EST, and call into the show at (866) 348 7884 with your questions and comments.

  1. I think I will always remember something acted out by Marilyn Hickey on TV, where she talked about a person having a beam in their own eye.

If we can imagine this literally, it’s a lot like some slapstick comedy that we may have seen by the three stooges or some others, where a man carries a long piece of lumber on his shoulder and every time he turns he bashes someone on the back of the head or in the face, or in the eye.
