Answers to Your Toughest Questions About Homosexuality

Exposing Error in the World and the Church; and a Missionary Update from the Philippines

Dr. Brown Interviews Chad Thompson and Steve Parker, Both of Whom Came out of Homosexuality

  1. Our Society today is just normalizing homosexuality as another option to satisfy our desires. The argument that Shmuley makes as a successful argument)) is that our society has normalized sinfulness in trivializing marriage, family planning, contraception, abortion, hooking up, one night affairs, movies, television, novels, pornography, and on and on it goes. All of this without the involvement of any holiness in our lives, and most of the church clergy winking at all of this non sense. We finally have the insidious sin turning into being born into sin, or born as mangled non holy lives- but we are what we are but we turn all of our attention to being the homosexual. We have to have a revolution and turn all of this into what it is SIN. Is our society going to do that?
Did Sodom turn from what she cleaved too?
Does Shmuely make a good point? ( That it is our behavior traced to all the unholiness of the so called Christian church that we have and do ignore that creates the monster?) We have created this unholy alliance that visits us in perversion. We can turn to the perversion, and ignore the process that creates the perversion.

  2. Is human sexuality fixed at birth, or is it fluid and changeable? Did you know that many prominent “gays” believe it is changeable! Dr. Charles Silverstein, for one, should know about this subject!

Dr. Charles Silverstein is a “respected” member of the “gay” community and the psychology/psychiatry professions. The following blurb is on one of his websites. “Dr. Charles Silverstein is the recipient of the 2011 Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement in The Practice of Psychology from the American Psychological Foundation and the Distinguished Book Award from [the “gay”] Division 44 of the American Psychological Association, 2009 Presidential Citation for Outstanding Achievement in Psychology from the American Psychological Association, 2006 Distinguished Professional Contribution Award from Division 44 of the American Psychological Association, and the 2002 Outstanding Contribution by the Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists of New York.”

This changeable/fluidity phenomenon is referred to by Dr. Silverstein in his book, “The New Joy of Gay Sex”.

“What if a man who has been happily homosexual for years finds himself attracted to a woman? Should he have an affair with her? If there is a real sexual attraction, why not?” (“The New Joy of Gay Sex,” by Dr. Charles Silverstein; New York: HarperCollins, 1992, pg. 7)

“Gay Sex,” a popular sex manual by Jack Hart, gives an actual example of such fluidity.

“Some gay people now have such a strong investment in their gay identity that it discourages them from recognizing a potential for bisexuality. Furthermore, gay-identified people who do end up in relationships with the opposite sex may feel uncomfortable about revealing that fact to their peers. One prominent gay male activist spent most of the 1980’s in a secretive relationship with a woman—a fact which to this day is known to only a small circle of his friends.” (“Gay Sex,” by Jack Hart; Boston: Alyson Publications, Inc., 1991, p.31)

Dr. Martin Duberman is “gay,” “an American
historian, playwright, and gay-rights activist. He is Professor of History Emeritus at the Graduate School of the City University of New York and Lehman College and was the founder and first director of the Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies at the CUNY Graduate School.” “He has authored over twenty books, including “James Russell Lowell” (a National Book Award finalist), “Charles Frances Adams” (Bancroft Prize winner), “Paul Robeson,” “Stonewall,” and the memoir “Cures: A Gay Man’s Odyssey”. His play “In White America” won the Vernon Rice/Drama Desk Award for Best Off-Broadway Production in 1963. He also won two [gay] Lambda awards for “Hidden from History: Reclaiming the Gay and Lesbian Past,” an anthology he co-edited; and a special award from the National Academy of Arts and Letters for his “contributions to literature.” (Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Duberman )

Duberman is not surprised that “gay” men can be attracted to women. He speaks of a:

“…number of gay men who have told me that since coming out they’ve developed for the first time in their lives an erotic interest in women. I’m reminded, too, of the number of women I know who, after becoming active feminists, adopted a bi- or homo-sexual lifestyle.” “About Time: Exploring the Gay Past, by Martin Duberman; New York: Meridian, 1991, pg. 325)

Duberman also cites research which shows that “gay men who are publicly ‘out’ are less rigid, fixated and anxious.” He cites approvingly the pro-gay Kinsey Foundation psychologist, Dr. Wardell Pomeroy, for the opinion that people can make radical shifts in their sexual “orientation,” as much as five points on the seven-point Kinsey Scale (Kinsey’s scale goes from 0-6, with a “0” being completely heterosexual and a “6” being completely homosexual). Therefore, someone “gay” could make a change from being completely homosexual to almost totally heterosexual. (Ibid., pg. 324)

Obviously, Duberman, Hart and Silverstein have high status in the “gay “ community, and they have never been condemned by the gay community for encouraging the idea that changeable/fluid sexuality is possible.

“Gays” know that change is possible, but they argue publicly that this cannot happen in order to help “gay” activists pursue their dishonest “gay identity politics” more effectivly.

  3. Remember Romans 1:26-27.
Therefore, God handed them over to degrading passions. Their females exchanged natural relations for unnatural,
    27
and the males likewise gave up natural relations with females and burned with lust for one another. Males did shameful things with males and thus received in their own persons the due penalty for their perversity.(The New American Bible–this version seems to be the most accurate in translating “female” and “male” as the Greek text actually reads)

Notice that this does not say “their natures,” but they changed from God-given nature itself. Look at our bodies: as God created us, the man is made for the woman and the woman for the man; this is nature as God created “male and female.” “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.(Genesis 1:27)

[4] And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
[5] And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
[6] Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.(Matthew 19:4-5; quoted by Jesus from Genesis 2:24)

Even though God created us a certain way, we, because of sin, can allow God’s plan to be perverted in us. But there is hope for those who are steeped in this sinful perversion of God’s intention in creation.

“9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” (NASB)

We can change the wrong way because of sin, but we can be changed back to God’s intent by the power of God’s Spirit, although fighting against sin is a lifetime battle in every believer’s life.

  4. Aaron and Sheridan, I have a question for you both.

Have we reached a critical mass in our world that there is no turning back of the majority.

Does something other worldly have to happen to turn this thing around?

Is this one issue of perversion being normalized going to take the whole world before judgement?

I see where Aaron has commented that God’s power of the spirit people can change- and i agree- but what percentage is going to change- how do we get to a critical mass? I can only see that it is going to take the return of the Messiah to turn this around. Any comments?

  5. Magnus, invite justin to the line of fire radio program. We need to send him a book, A Queer thing happened to America.
