I really appreciate Dr. Brown being careful about identifying “radical Islam” as a danger, rather than just Islam.
A lot of Christians don’t make that important distinction.
I was a missionary in Muslim countries for over a decade and knew lots of Muslims. While there are some dangerous radicals, the vast majority of Muslims are just regular people.
Unfortunately I was not able to pay close attention to what Dr. Brown said about why they hate us, I did agree with what I heard.
The Fundamentalist (not just radical) Muslims feel like they under attack by the west, America and Christians. Dr. Brown is correct that they disapprove of western decadence but it goes beyond that.
For example, in the countries I know, Muslims feel that their traditional family structure is under attack by American style “Love marriages” (aka nuclear family).
They also are very resentful of American support for oppressive-but-pro-oil dictatorships.
And, of course, America’s support of Israel.
Some items on the list are lies. Other are trivial – like our eating of pork and keeping dogs.
Anyway… the list is kind of endless!

Couple of questions for you –
1) When do you expect to complete your book on hyper-calvinism?
2) When will your debate with James White be available?
3) Are you familiar with Richard S. Taylor’s books: The Scandal of Pre-Forgiviness; and, A Right Conception of Sin
Those are two excellent reads on the subject at hand, which I found to be sound and thought provoking.
