  1. Maybe the Hasidim and Amish have it right. I used to go to school with one set of friends and to church with another. Maybe we need to start calling for the abandonment of the public schools for private and home schooling.

When they actively subvert parents authority with chaperoned trips to the local abortion centre or teaching elementary age kids that all lifestyles are to be accepted or youre a bully, thats well beyond the “dust off your feet” time.

  2. Magunus,

I work in public schools and I have never heard anyone called a bully simply for believing that homosexuality is wrong.

However, we do ask our student to not make disparaging remarks about gays.

I suppose that some of those anti-gay students feel that their free speech rights are being abridged but we educators have a legal obligation to maintain a positive learning environment for all our students — not just the heterosexual ones.

But, I assure you — we have the very same standard for protecting Christian students. Not often, but a couple of times I’ve heard anti-Christian/religious remarks and I made those students stop, as well.

  3. Yeah, pull your kids out of the public schools and teach them yourselves. Then get ready to have your kids live with you the rest of your lives because they will not be able to find work. Home schooling is all about making sure your child learns nothing about science. Admit it.
