  1. I think we need to acknowledge that what happens in the political world–what happens in the halls of temporal power in the United States or anywhere else–has absolutely nothing to do with the advancement of the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. The kingdom of Christ does not rise or fall, it is neither diverted, hindered, nor aided by anything going on in the temporal world.
There are only two kingdoms in the world: the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. And whatever is not a part of the kingdom of God is a part of the kingdom of Satan, to one degree or another. The two are incompatible, and always and inevitably at odds.
What is about to come to pass in these United States for those that claim to belong to and be a Christian because they go to church every week and vote for the “right” person, will be used to reveal to the church at large just how far off we are. A weak Gospel, along with ear tickling teaching of The Holy Scriptures has left many with a false sense of security in what has become to be known by the masses as salvation. Many have come to think of Jesus as the co-star in their lives, that His part is to give them “their best life now”, which is why you hear comments by the football player this Sunday. Scripture taken out of context and and positive, Jesus as the add on to your life teaching has bread a church that will not stand under the persecution that is coming. BUT GOD! In His mercy will use this to shake all that is not of Him and bring down those houses of false teaching, and turn the hearts of those who are willing to take up their cross and truly follow Jesus. Those that choose to lay down their will, and lives, and say, not my will but YOUR will be done” no matter the cost.
Thank You Father for allowing persecution to come so that we may be made whole. Thank You for giving us eyes to see and ears to hear so that on The awesome and terrible day of The Lord we will not be found lacking. Amen.

For those who claim to be a Christian because they go to church every week but continue to live fruitless lives, what is coming to pass in America is going to be a rude awakening. A weak Gospel, along with ear tickling teaching instead of The Holy Scriptures has left many with a false sense of security in what has become to be known by the masses as salvation. Many have come to think of Jesus as the co-star in their lives, that His part is to give them “their best life now”, which is why you hear comments like the one from the football player this Sunday. They are being taught this false doctrine by self appointed pastors. Scripture taken out of context has bred a church that will not stand under the persecution that is coming. BUT GOD, in His mercy will use this to shake all that is not of Him and bring down those houses of false teaching, and turn the hearts of His people back to Himself. So much time has been wasted and the church has played the harlot, but faithful is He.
Thank You Father for allowing persecution to come so that we may be made whole. Thank You for giving us eyes to see and ears to hear so that on The great and terrible day of The Lord we will not be found lacking. Amen.
