Dr. Brown deals with some of the most misquoted or misunderstood verses dealing with God’s purposes for Israel and takes your Jewish-related calls, live from India! Listen live here 2-4 pm EST, and call into the show at (866) 348 7884 with your questions and comments.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: When Jesus said to His disciples,”It’s not for you to know the times and authorities that God has put in His own hands”, He is not saying He would not restore Israel; just none of your business when I do it.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: If God’s promises to Israel can’t be trusted then neither can His promises to the Church.

  1. “They are beloved for the fathers’ sake”

Does this have anything to do with…

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations…”

    ?

  2. if the current israel is not a priestly nation, how could we say the ancient levi state restored? how many jewish believers in Jesus Christ will make enough to claim that the state of Israel has said “blessed is he that cometh in the name of the lord”?
personal i pray and eagerly await that Israel as whole surrend to zr messiah and our savior Jesus Christ.
    “Am Israel Chaim”

  3. Palestinians were decended from the Philistines alright, and the Philistines were the Sea Peoples displaced during the Santorini Volcano Eruption around 1450 B.C. when the volcano exploded and caused a massive tsunami that destroyed the Minoan civilization of Knossus. Right at about the same time the Exodus began.

Kinda ironic that they ended up back in Gaza where they started out, which was once Philistia. The song of Moses speaks about the destruction of the Palestinians/philistines in Exodus 15:14, at least i think this is an endtime prophecy. I’m not real sure about this part of Israel’s ancient history.

  4. According to Galatians 3 Paul said that under Christ there is no jew or greek, free nor slave, male nor female, but we have put on Christ and are all seed of Abraham and heirs to the promise (paraphrased). Soin short if you are Christ’s then you are the seed of Abraham.

  5. Joshua,

I mean no insult, but were you being serious about the Palestinians being related to the ancient Philistines? If so, you are 100% mistaken.

You are also misinterpreting Paul’s words about no Jew or Gentile, male or female, etc. If your interpretation was correct, why then did Paul still give specific instructions to men and women, etc.?

  6. Since all are one in Christ whether they be male, female, bond or free, why did the apostle give specific instructions to men and women etc?

Is it because they were carnal or for some other resons?

When I read Gal 3:28, I wonder if there is a sense in which there is no distinction in the Godhead at times.
