Dr. Brown Tackles Your Toughest Questions

[Download MP3]

What’s my take on the ancient papyrus allegedly pointing to Jesus having a wife? Is it OK for believers to incur debt to purchase a home or automobile? Is birth control acceptable for believers? Is there a difference between the word of knowledge and the word of wisdom? Listen live here 2-4 pm EST, and call into the show at (866) 348 7884 with your questions and comments.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Politics will continue to divide us; many social issues will continue to divide us. Let us unite around Jesus and burn bright for him, without compromise and with grace.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: It is often a fine line between truth and error. There’s often a fine line between deception and sound doctrine. And that which keeps us on the right path is not our feelings or emotions but the unchangeable, eternal Word of truth, God’s holy Word.

  1. Dr. Brown,

I just viewed the video of the interview that was conducted some months ago on the ‘David Pakman’ show on the homosexuality issue. It was clear that the host did not want to engage in a reasonable, rational, well thought out discussion, but rather attempted to throw questions of ‘why and how’ when he himself did not have answers for his them. I was glad to see how you responded and defended the Biblical union of marriage. I appreciate the work you do.

    Blessings
    JIG

  2. My take on Yeshua being married is the papyrus is a lie but ofcourse i’m running on Daniel 9:26 Messiah being cut off but not for himself. In my mind (and i could be wrong) being cut off means killed before he could have decendants, his line is severed with him. I believe those are gnostics scriptures that is supposed to validate the Merovingians being the living decendants of Christ.

  3. I’m not going to vote for either presidential candidate. You got the choice of Satan in one hand and Satan in the other. I’m not going to vote for either one. Romney and Barry Soterro are both shady characters who have proven time and time again they have no moral ground to stand on and will change what they believe in at the drop of a dime if it gets them more votes. I cannot and will not vote for men who will not stand for Yeshua 100% “Obama” wants to steal the funding from medicare and medicaid from the elderly thus denying them quality medical care they earned building this nation into what it is and that is not just not honoring your mother and father but stealing from them at the same time! Neither will i support a man who condones the murder of the unborn that God blesses us with. Voting is a no win situation, you end up voting for the lesser or greater of 2 evils. I cannot do it, my conscience will not allow it. God is not a democrat or republican, his government is not a democracy it never was and it never will be and when the Church votes for these men of lesser morals we are compromising our faith and supporting the very things our God hates. These men do not love God, they love power. I will absolutely not compromise on this at all.

  4. I would say that comparing Romney to satan is some rather strong hyperbole. I would disagree with the conclusion that Obama would change his position on a dime. He seems to be a pretty consistent ultra liberal. Can you give proof of his shifting of positions? If he changes positions at all, it seems to be to a more liberal position. I would agree that Romney seems to change positions. I view him as a political opportunist who takes the easiest political position. He is expressing a pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, pro-Israel, conservative position. I would maintain that our job is not over when we elect him though. We have to keep the pressure on him to do the right things. However, the White House will be occupied by either Romney or Obama and I believe the Christian has a responsibility to make sure that it will not be occupied for another 4 years by the most pro-abortion, anti-traditional marriage, anti-Israel President in our nation’s history. I would agree with you comments about Obama and the elderly. Here is an article regarding that http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/08/19/Paul-Ryan-Puts-Obama-Campaign-On-Defense-On-Medicare

Here is another good article about why Christians must work to defeat Obama: http://www.lifenews.com/2012/09/18/five-reasons-pro-life-voters-should-work-to-defeat-obama/

I cannnot understand why anyone who claims to be a Christian would not make it a priority to defeat a President who has been more radical than any other previous president in championing the slaughter of the unborn!
