    I was talking with a neighbor, and he said we can’t trust the Hebrew Scriptures, because they were written in an ancient language, which is no longer intelligible (citing the recent finds of two new Viking {whatever their language was} texts, and the overhaul of that language that had to take place because of them): what would you say to such a person?

    I told him “people have been following these ancient texts for thousands of years, and they’ve understood what was meant.
