[Download MP3]

Dr. Brown will look at different views of the end times and the Jewish people and then will be joined by Rev. Pat Mahoney for updates on the persecution of Christians in Iran and Iraq.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Yes, there are prophecies of difficulty and trouble for Israel and even for the rest of the world, but the overwhelming theme is that out of these troubles, Israel will be delivered and will embrace the Messiah and her God!

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: In the midst of suffering, persecution, and all Hell breaking loose against God’s people, Jesus is building His church, His Messianic congregation, and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it!

Don’t Just Talk About the Gospel… Demonstrate It!

VOR Article by Eric Gilmour

The world out there is not waiting for a new definition of Christianity but a new demonstration.
~Leonard Ravenhill

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest […]

We Can’t Stop Speaking… (the issue of silent Christianity)

VOR Article by Eric Gilmour

n Acts chapter four we see the disciples standing on trial. They are commanded to stop preaching Jesus. Look at part of their response. They said, “we can’t stop […]

  1. Great theme today! I’m also excited that today’s thoroughly Jewish Thursday will be expanded today on Dr. James White’s podcast :)! I think so, at least.. Lord willing.

  2. Dr. Brown,
I am troubled by what seems to be a contradiction between Matthew’s time line of the abomination of desolation (Mt 24:15) and Luke’s timing of the abomination of desolation (Lk 21:20).

It seems Matthew is saying the desolation is future-tense, whereas Luke is saying the desolation is past-tense (70 AD).

Luke says that the desolation will occur, THEN the diaspora will occur, and the temple be trodden under foot until the end of the times of the gentiles (2,000 years or so), but Matthew does not allow for 2,000 years to pass, for there is (according to the reference of Daniel 12) nothing but 45 days that follow the abomination of desolation (i.e.: 1290th until the 1335th day [45 days of Great Tribulation]) – is this or is this not a contradiction?

  3. Dr. Brown,
Also, if the future temple will have the glory in it in order for it to be “left desolate”, does that mean the glory is still resting on the old covenant (or is the “desolation” speaking of the believers who fall away being left “desolate” when they receive the mark)?

    Thanks

  4. In a previous radio show Michael has recommended David Pawson’s book ‘When Jesus Returns’.

Here is a video advert for the book by David lasting under 7 minutes :

Here is a TREMENDOUS audio talk on the subject, which was given as part of a series on Revelation at a Bible college :

At a minimum,do watch the 7 minute advert and download a free sample of the book to your computer or Kindle if you can.

Michael : ‘Let truth triumph’. Yes indeed.

  5. Dear Dr.Brown. Thank you for exposing the situation of Christian persecution. We are called to action in Heb. 13:3 and James 1:27 to pray and come to the aid of our brothers who are being persecution TODAY. One thing I do not understand is why there is no praying for our brothers every Sunday. I do support Barnabus Fund, Open Doors and Voice of the Martyrs and Hope for Israel Releif Fund. But my question is where are the men here. Why can’t we at least go to the streets and pray to bring this out into the light? Why don’t we open every church service with a prayer for the persecuted church. I wonder what Yeshua is thinking when blood is being spilled at the same time we are singing happy clappy but no mention about this. I will look into Rev.Pat Mahony’s ministry. I feel ashamed as a man I would like to know what the elders and pastors and youth leaders would say to the dear sister? Please keep exposing this. I have asked my church if I could set up a kiosk and was told there is no room. Thank you Dr. Brown God bless you.

  6. Dan1el brings up a good question in where did the ‘split’ in OT & NT begin in early manuscripts?

We must remember that GOD being GOD cannot ‘annul’ a covenant, only ‘fulfill’. So when GOD says that he will “look to the place” of the Temple Mount you can understand the controversy even though Roman civilization tried to wipe out the ‘building’ a couple of millennia ago. The ‘glory’ Ezekiel referred to was specific (as in Shekinah) which is controversial on these blogs; the ‘wheels’ being even more so.
    In Him, Ron M.

  7. “Jacob’s Distress”

If one reads at least the next two verses, that person would be able to tell that it refers to the last days. This has not occurred yet because Jacob is not serving their Kind, David (aka Jesus). It is something still to come, part of the restoration that is taking place… bit by bit.

  8. RDM,
I don’t count “those who destroyed the temple” to be the Gentiles; I believe the Temple referred to in Daniel is Jesus – as Jesus, Himself, gives that particular understanding of Scripture in John.

Anti-Messiah must be a Jew, or the Jews will NEVER receive him [John 5:43] – and, as it has been the program, “first the Jew, then the Gentile”: the Gentiles will follow the Jews in reception of the anti-Messiah.

  9. Now that was more interesting than my answer (that was interesting): a Blue Screen of Death that wiped out an hour or so of work!
    Any tongue-interpreting nerds out there?
