Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: People take drugs, get high, get drunk, and get filled with things of the flesh because they are not filled with things of God. Be filled with the Spirit and be sober-minded, and you will find not only is there no need for drugs or drunkenness, but that you are repulsed by things of the flesh because of the holy things of God.

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Yes, we are called to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, but it doesn’t mean try to be saved or work hard to be saved. It means walk this thing out with reverence for God!

Greetings to all here that tune in on the Line Of Fire Radio show. About 4 years or so ago, after living a life of gangs and sin, I was delivered by Jesus Christ. Quick story of mine, I started attending a church here in California. After a few years of just attending and continuing my worldly lifestyle, but there came a day when the preacher had preached a tremendous message, and it pierced my heart and my soul, and I went to up the altar, and I wept sincerely and I repented of my sins. The old man died at that altar. Two months after I was Baptized in the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of all my sins, and several months after that God filled my with his Holy Ghost during a conference and I began to speak in tongues as the spirit gave me the utterance. It was the best feeling in the world.
Since then I have been walking with God, have had many ups and downs, but I know that God will see me through. So I just want someone to know that Jesus Christ does love you, and he wants you to be saved more than you can possibly imagine, and I encourage you to seek the face of God in prayer and repentance and do what the Apostle Peter commanded us to do in Acts Chapter 2 and verse 38!
