A Burning Heart for Revolution

[Download MP3]

Dr. Brown opens his heart wide and shares his vision and intense burden to see a Jesus-glorifying, gospel revolution that will rock this generation — and he identifies the “politically correct” forces that try to silence our voices.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: I will say it again: I am not backing down, retreating, shutting down, or shutting up and by the grace of God, I will continue to speak truth, love, and exhalt Jesus. If people hate us, then so be it. The Lord’s smile will be upon us and we will make an impact for good!

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: It’s not too late. Don’t throw in the towel, give in to the pressure, give in to intimidation, or be ashamed of Jesus. Rise and shine! It’s your time!

Other Resources:

How Saved Are We? by Dr. Brown: This unsettling book challenges us to ask ourselves what kind of born-again experience we have had if it calls for almost no personal sacrifice, produces virtually no separation from the world, and breeds practically no hatred of sin.

Revolution: The Call to Holy War by Dr. Brown: This book is not a call for the violent overthrow of the government, nor is it a call to take up arms, nor is it a call to political activism in and of itself. It is a call to something far more extreme, a call to live out the gospel…

It’s Time to Rock the Boat [MP3 series]: Our compromised message has produced a compromised generation of believers, and only a return to the New Testament gospel, preached in the power of the Spirit, can turn the tide. This course will open your eyes and set your hearts ablaze for Jesus!

  1. Hi, Dr. Brown – I am with you, and agree that our greatest need is for a great Awakening, a mighty move of the Holy Spirit – I pray fervently for it. Sometimes as I’ve been listening to your program I have thought ohhh, what if Dr. Brown and all the listeners could just break into prayer and intercession together right there on the spot during the broadcast – to pray for the awakening to come, to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that will revive, equip, and empower the Church to get up and get on with “our Father’s business”.

I know that there could be some difficult dynamics to having a prayer meeting over the radio. But, if that’s not do-able, I wonder if there could be a webstream from Fire School, or something that could be scheduled so that the word could spread, and your listeners, and others from all over, could plan to participate – where it is focused specifically on crying out for the awakening we so desperately need?

  2. I Thank God for the line of fire and all the messages of you ,Dr Brown !
Standing with you in heart ,even if far apart !

Blessings and thanks from Switzreland !
We also desperately need a revolution

    united in HIM

  3. In case you’re wondering who is listening, Dr. Brown, I’ll tell you we heard you loud and clear in South Carolina!

Really good broadcast today! It seems you sent out some of the original fire that began your vision! 🙂

  4. For some reason this show and the “Dr. Brown Talks about the Favor of the Lord in the Scriptures and Interviews Evangelist Daniel Kolenda” show have the date February 14, 2012 under them.

  5. Dr. Brown,
Speaking of revolution and fire of God in our lives…

Isa 65:1 I am inquired of by them that asked not for me; I AM FOUND OF THEM THAT SOUGHT ME NOT: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

Do you think that ppl can get too tense, or trust in their own strength too much when “seeking God”? Why does it say here He was found by people who didn’t seek Him, and in another verse He says seek Him with all your heart then you will find Him?
I’ve experienced finding Him without seeking Him, that is awesome, but I don’t know how to make it happen, obviously, because it isn’t about MY work… thanks…

  6. Brother Brown

This is in response to “A burning heart for revolution.”

Well, my testimony would probably take up a whole lot of space, so I will try to condense it here. I have been a hebrew believer for over 20 years now being 39 presently. It was only about 8 to 9 months ago that my relationship with God went beyond just a typical American church goer who gave his heart genuinely to the Lord and wanted to change and grow, but never fully submitted or remained. You see we all tend to major in biblical facts, but lack the fruit of the Spirit, which was me. The idea of the fruit of the Spirit is almost a foreign concept these days and the church often just looks at what we do daily.

God has revived me and I have been studying the scriptures without any prior perspectives and brother has many of my understandings changed. My wife being a believer as well has not had this closeness with God much like I had, but I pray that she will she beyond our difficult life. We have now one 4.5 yr old and 3 yr old with autism, we are battling to save our house from foreclosure, my mother is mentally sick and fading away, my career has been stagnate, we are virtually isolated from friends and family because nobody really relates to us especially with the kids and they are all Christian. But when God revives your Spirit you start to see His hands all over it instead of being the poor me victim. I have never grown so much as I have now.

Let me add to your revival testimony. Just like you, God has spoken to me about the state of affairs in this country. Not to my head, but in a dream. In my dream I was standing in a grass park where people were enjoying themselves mixed with Christians and non-Christians. At a distance, I noticed a lady walking around who looked out of place because she was wearing a robe with hood; much like a monk would wear.

I found it very odd, since people did not normally dress that way. Then she approached me and talked with me, but I was a third person. I was separated from myself and saw us talking at a distance. I have no idea what she was telling me. Towards the end of the conversation, I saw myself looking around at all the people.

The next scene I am standing in the middle of a very large street where there was wide median. Walking along the median, I look to the left side where there are homes and noticed the sky filling up with a red color like blood and it continued to progress along the sky over the homes.

Further down I stop in the midst of many people. The lady in the park with the robe is standing near me and points or turns backward and I notice all the people standing behind me was the church in America. It was quite a large crowd! But then a very strong thunder cracked and we looked into the sky and heard the voice of God speak through the thunderous sound saying, “because this country has not turned from its iniquities and wickedness I will now smite you.” We were quite frightened and went to our knees and hunched over to bow in fear.

But the lady standing before us held her arms up to let us know that we were under His protection. When God removed His presence, we stood up again. I then looked back to see peoples reactions. After looking at my wife first I noticed how much smaller the crowd was at that point and was told that God judges His church first and was cleansing out all the non-believers from the church. And the remainder whom was missing from the smaller crowd were martyred believer’s for Christ. God will bring revival and judgement to His church. This will not come in the future, but is already underway.

I do not understand all the details of the dream, but parts only. The thing is that all the people in the church that fall away might actually still fill the churches, but their hearts will fall away as God allows many things to arise here. I also encourage all to make sure you truly belong to Him, because many say they walk in the light but deceive themselves while they walk in darkness. He seeks humbleness and a contrite heart.

Thank you brother for this broadcast for many will hear and turn to Him, but we must also pray for our Pastor’s to reach the lost with truth. Whether we like it or not, there are a many of people filling our Christian churches who are only Christians by declaration, but their lives are not being changed heart-wise. We can have changed external behaviors and store up wickedness in our hearts. God start with me first! As brother Dr. Brown says help us not be complacent with ourselves or with others.

  7. Dan1el,

First, the promises come to those who seek; Deut 4:29; Jer 29:13; Matt 7:7-11, etc.

Second, God does reveal Himself to people who hadn’t sought Him, by His grace, but then must respond.

But to answer your “tense” question — yes, we can get too tense if we put it all on us. So, when I “seek God” to draw closer or to break through for an answer, I do so with a sense of total dependence on Him and confidence that He will help and answer. I feel urgency out of hunger and need, but no pressure on myself.

  8. Dear Dr. Brown.

I write here to ask God to strengthen you and encourage you and increase your strength and peace within. The battle on this field is getting more intense these days.

Here is a little story of what just happened last week here in Iceland.

A primary school teacher and a pastor in a Pentecostal Church was suspended for 6 month from the school with no promise of returning to his position in at the end of the 6 month. He had bloged against teaching young kids about homosexuality. In the blog he explained the stand of the evangelical church. The Internet, radio and TV stations are on fire because of this, condemning the teacher. Please pray for him. His name is Snorri Oskarsson.

The same week, The West District Court sentenced a male teacher for only twelve-month suspended prison for paying 14 year old boy for sex BECAUSE he was a wery good gay man who for years had lived in hiding with his sexuality according to the psychiatrist. He had tempted to seek contact with other men with great consequences for him and his family. The teacher got mild sentence for this reason.
The TV stations, newspapers and the blogs are in silence and nobody likes to comment on the case.

  9. shalom dr. brown from India.
Indian people naturally identify with jewish people and Israel; this is one country where they were not persecuted.
God is doing amazing things here. God is raising up believers who shall make the jewish believers jealous. How? by living it out! Yesm living out the lifestyle in the book of Acts. We are embracing that lifestyle of the apostolic church so that we may see the salvation of Israel and return of our Adonai Yeshua!
We are with you dr. Brown! Spread the Revival Fire!
