Dr. Brown gives an update on churches in NYC being kicked out of their buildings, evaluates statements from Republican candidates on same-sex “marriage,” and comments on relevant news from Hawaii to Greece to Australia.

Hour 1:
Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: As we see so many forces in society rise up around us on so many different fronts, this is not the time to cower in a corner or become timid. This is the time to be bold, open, and unashamed of Jesus, who He is and what He has called us to do! Step forward, don’t back down!
Hour 2:
Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Society is going increasingly mad. Society is embracing things that make absolutely no sense and ultimately reputiating personal responsibility in the name of “disability” and “born that way.” Let us bring sobriety and sanity back to our society!

  1. Romney has a proven track record of saying whatever to get what he wants. I wouldn’t trust him at all with what he says. But I trust Santorum, Gingrich and Dr. Paul about their views about it.

Dr. Paul believes Marriage is a religious institution done before the sight of God, so Churches should be free not to be forced to marry gays, but as a liberterian he feels gays should be free to live whatever lifestyles they like, but marriage is a Church/Religious issue, not a state issue from his perspective.

  2. Hi, Dr. Brown,

Weighing in with a quick comment…I genuinely hope this in no way offends you or causes you to think that I am just trying to chip away at our religious freedoms under the guise of a hate-speech law against the men who passed out the tracts about homosexuality & hanging (I think homosexuality is wrong, as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ!).

However, because of the nature of what they are doing (i. e., passing out tracts that seem to be hinting at murder), it does seem like this needs to be stopped immediately. Personally I’m not in favor of prosecution as long as there’s some other way to prevent these men from handing out tracts like this, in the future.

I understand that the liberals may try to use a decision against these Muslims to their advantage; however, because of the severe nature of what they’re doing – in other words, since it’s murder they’re suggesting, and not just ostracizing gay people, or something like that – these folks should be stopped from passing out tracts and the like. I realize we live in a (for now, anyways!), civilized culture, and are a Western nation. However unfortunately some people might be influenced by these tracts, as some people really do hate gay people (once again, unfortunately!), and might be incited to violence because of reading a tract like that.

God bless you; I hope that the Line of Fire continues to do really well!

    In Christ

    Charlotte McGlothlin
