Time for Sober Reflection

Dr. Brown shares his thoughts on the passing of David Wilkerson, the deadly storms, and the rising death toll in the Middle East.

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Jesus said, “Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; if it dies, it bears much fruit.” May the passing from this world of our brother David Wilkerson cause a multiplication of the people of God; young men and women and older people alike. Stand up for what is right and true, and glorify Jesus regardless of cost or consequence– whether by life or by death.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: God has put something in your heart that will not be quenched until you stand up for what is right. God has put something in your heart to make a difference in this generation. Jesus died for you, rose for you, lives for you. His Spirit is upon you. Stand up, my friends, and make a difference!

  1. I appreciate the time, honor and comments Dr. Brown is making concerning Pastor/Brother David Wilkerson. I graduated from a Teen Challenge type of program in 1974 and attended a Bible school he began in 1976 in Texas. I was challenged to prayer beyond the “required” devotional time by Brother Dave and by our prayer teacher at school, Leonard Ravenhill. I wonder too, who will carry the voice of Brother Dave in the Body of Christ?
His life reflected Christ in a tangible way. I was always impressed not only by his voice, but the fact that he NEVER compromised and manipulated people to ask for money! He was never a man-pleaser, but always a God-pleaser.
He will be greatly missed here and my prayer is that as this seed falls into the ground and died…it will be multiplied.

  2. The USA needs to repent for their sins! These devastations are God’s rebuke for our sins for we have become like Sodom and Gomorrah for the wide spread acceptances of homosexuality and other sins. If that many tornados can occur all together at the same time, it can and will happen AGAIN and AGAIN! Repent USA! Turn from your sins! Quit encouraging and loving evil doers in their evilness or even worst disasters can and will come upon us!

  3. Thank you so much Dr. Brown for posting David Wilkerson’s A Call To Anguish. I would love to see every church in the world have this clip on every screen, because the church has been infected by the world, and is making far less of an impact than what should be.

God look on us in mercy, …pull us out of our drunken stupor of worldliness and selfish desire to sin and bring us to our knees in repentance to the place we need to remember most, the cross of Christ.

  4. The best way to honor the life’s work of brother Wilkerson is to honor the God he served with a life devoted to serving him and growing in our intimate fellowship with him through his son Jesus Christ.
