Classic Preaching on Israel’s Restoration and Salvation

Join Dr. Brown as he sorts through some of the main teachings in churches regarding Israel!

Hour 1:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: Israel’s future salvation is sure, because our King has promised it. God has spoken in the Old and New Testaments that there will be a turning of the heart of the Jewish people, that all Israel will be saved, and that on that day He will be the God of all the clans of Israel. But it will not happen independently; it will happen through you and me praying, witnessing, sharing our faith, living the life, and Israel will be provoked to jealousy.

Hour 2:

Dr. Brown’s Bottom Line: An awakened church, a revived church, a people with life breathed into them, encountering the Spirit afresh, turning from sin with blazing fire in their hearts and lives toward Jesus will be the key to the awakening and salvation of the house of Israel, which brings it back again to asking, “God, revive me!”

  1. I appreciate Dr. Brown taking my question re: the implications of John 8 for replacement theology today. I have one follow up question though. Understanding his belief that Jew and Gentile alike must come to a belief in the Messiah in order to be saved, what’s the nature of his dispute with the replacement theologists. It seems that — more than anything — it may be a predictive dispute (i.e. whether the entire nation will come to faith), since both sides believe that salvation for all is through faith in the Messiah.

Like I said, I’m a huge fan of the work that you do for the Almighty, so I appreciate any additional comments you give.

    Thanks much!!

  2. As I was listening I thought about many years ago when there was a man who had a tree near his front door and my friend asked me what kind of tree I thought it was.

I looked at the leaves and I had never seen such a thing. I saw three different kind of leaves on it.

It was because my friend’s dad had been doing some grafting.

Now suppose he had kept grafting all over the tree, and one of the kinds of leaves all died.

That could make the whole tree look rather sickly.
I suppose it would reflect rather poorly on all the rest of the tree.

I suppose that doesn’t often happen with trees because it seems to me that every leaf takes in sunlight and converts what is given to it by it’s roots into food to sustain the whole tree, that the whole tree be healthy.

  3. My wife is currently reading “Our Hands Are Stained With Blood” – and yesterday she came with tears in her eyes and said, “Indeed our hands are stained with blood”. Before God we confess our guilt and pray for the salvation of the Jewish people.

We know and love some Jewish families and individuals in Israel – someone once explained to me that the Israelis are like the “Sabra” plant (rough on the outside, real soft and sweet on the inside).

I would highly recommend your listeners and readers to a message Dr. Brown gave out (available on askdrbrown.org website for free) entitled “A Baptism of Tears for Israel” – I heard that about a year or so ago, and it has caused me to pray for Israel and ask God to give me tears for Israel. Another resource is a book about a delightful deal old man – ZVI, a Holocaust survivor, and a Jewish believer in Jesus Christ, entitled “ZVI : The Miraculous Story of Triumph Over the Holocaust” by Elwood McQuaid, I believe put forward by the FOI group.

  4. Here are some people actively involved in the restoration of Israel:

You can watch an interview with a group of young men associated Hayovel that have a zeal for the restoration of Israel on TBN on Saturday, June 4th at 4:30 pm eastern time.

In addition, Tommy and Sherri Waller were featured guests this week on “Light of the Southwest” (LOTS) for God’s Learning Channel. Their program is scheduled to air on Friday, June 3 at 2pm. (TIMES LISTED FOR GLC ARE FOR THE CENTRAL TIME ZONE.) The program will also replay the following weekend, though air times for the second weekend are not yet listed.

  5. It always makes me shake my head when I hear people say that God is through with the Jewish people because they did not keep their covenant with God or because they killed the Messiah….I would like to know how many of us Gentiles could say we have “kept” covenant with God, and as I read my bible I seem to hear it say that Messiah went to His death for everyones sins….Jew and Gentile….ONE in Messiah. Should I not want to see my brother’s sitting under Christ’s banner too? God is not through with them any more than he is through with us, the adopted ones.

  6. If you want to have a better understanding of Israel and the Church, Daniel’s 70 Weeks, The
True Hope of Israel and the True Israel “google” Philip Mauro and take the time to read his writings.
