  1. Hi, Dr Brown. I appreciated your show today.

Chuck Missler taught on this subject, and he believes in the possibility of a connection between nephilim and UFOs. Missler is a very intelligent man. He loves God and loves to study the Bible. He encourages others to do the same. I don’t think of him as a loopy, crazy person. I realize that this topic may not be the most important to re-explore on your show, but it would be interesting if you had Chuck Missler on to talk or debate this whole alien/nephilim thing.

No matter what, I agree that these alien abductions and sightings are demonic (at least those that are not hoaxes).

  2. So sad about Fred Phelps… he really needs prayers… I feel very sad for him… he doesn’t know any better…

  3. LOL @ nephilim !!!!!!!!!!

I heard someone say that’s why Canaan had to be destroyed “it was full of nephilim!” but the prostitute was a fore-mother of Jesus, so… if that were true, Jesus’s blood line would’ve been tainted… which is not possible…

  4. Thanks for sharing your testimony Dr. Brown, very powerful. It brought me to tears. What amazes me most is how so many people from all walks of life, from all generations, who never met, all have the same story about Jesus.

  5. What’s very telling to me is that “aliens” seem to have as a big part of their agenda the “debunking” of our Holy Scriptures.

I read many years ago about Swiss farmer Billy Meier’s abduction of beings ‘from the Pleiades system’ — and their take on God the Father was that he was just an extraterrestrial who conned others into worshiping him, and while he lived for a long time, actually passed on long ago.

Also, someone I know recommended that I read “Alien Interview,” which I did recently. It purports to be based an an actual interview with the one alien, “Ariel,” who survived the Roswell crash and whose communication was received telepathically and written down by the one person whom Ariel trusted, a nurse in attendance. This nurse supposedly then gave her transcript of this “interview” to a writer many years later whom she believed would do the subject matter justice. Anyway, same anti-God agenda, apparently, as Ariel claims that her group was actually responsible for planting The Vedas and that the being we all generally consider to be God wasn’t really God at all.

I can’t help but wonder if the next big wave of apostasy will take place when and if there is ever a mass apparition of these so-called extraterrestrial beings. There have been plenty of sightings on record, but nothing on the scale of masses of people witnessing at once. I haven’t found one supposed communication from “aliens” that is actually there to support or affirm Holy Scripture yet, so I have to consider these in light of what appears to be a big part of their agenda.

  6. I think those found in the wreckage of the Roswell incident were the victims of something far more nefarious than aliens. “Operation Paperclip” is something very worthwhile to look into. The book worth reading is, “Roswell and the Reich: The Nazi Connection” by Joseph P. Farrell. Many Nazi’s disappeared into our most top secret projects; the CIA, and then into the NASA space program. While President Truman absolutely forbid it, they were welcomed, by producing forged documents, with open arms by others. In fact, after the war, the Nazi’s went “to all the kings of the earth” and took their technological know-how with them. Do we honestly think they were all of a sudden no longer anti-semitic because they came to the US?

Do I think UFO’s are real? Yes.

I do have a question I’ll submit to “Ask Dr. Brown.” Where did the disembodied demons come from? If the fallen angels are in chains, and the flood came to destroy the offspring of the comingling of angels and women, together with the ungodly of their day, were the spirits of the offspring of angels the demons of today? Enoch says they are. I know most scholars don’t put much emphasis on the book of Enoch, but, I think it needs to be re-examined, as parts of it speak to the origin of demons.

Also, the books of Maccabees aren’t considered scripture, but, they are used to fill in historic events, the rededication of the temple after Antiochus defiled it, and, some say as it is mentioned in the book of Daniel. Is there no merit at all in the book of Enoch? Many NT authors quote Enoch, and he is mentioned there more than in the OT.

  7. I recall James Dobson remarking on this trend twenty years ago: of society attributing both the acts of God and Satan to “Aliens”. I am certainly alienated from the legions of the Satan, and his ways, as twisted and deceptive as they are.

And too, it is sad how much his work has permeated Evangelical circles, in the name of social-political accommodations and the new discernment under this umbrella of “impressions of the appropriateness” of this or that. Not to mention the merchandising of Christian education as being enterprise, where so.

To keep our lamps lit, expecting the sudden, unannounced, return of the Messiah is to keep on looking in the right place, not spending too much effort spinning our wheels on such matters of controversy, or unclarity of assumption and resulting assertion. This is an arena of speculation, and, perhaps some is needful, but, we await the Bridegroom do we not?

  8. I think it could all be rather more boring than it might appear. for e.g “Breaking news, a scientist has discovered a link that human beings have a linkage to the DNA of the “Alien” at roswell. Proving there is no God and we evolved from alien DNA”.

possible ? stephen Hawking seems to think so and he is not alone.

Would the news that alien contact or alian dna links, shake your world view ?

    it really shouldnt.

  9. jj,

I think you said it right. They are the “new” and definitive “missing link” for those who are perishing and do not believe the truth.

  10. I am surprised that no one mentioned the verse in Daniel (which is usually the connection that people are making to why it is believed that there will be Nephilim again in the last days)…
Daniel 2:43 ~ “And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”
They shall “mingle themselves with the seed of men” implies that the “they” are something other than “the seed of men”.
I see it as very plausible that the end time one world government will be demonic beings (angels) that are once again mingling in the human race. Maybe the “seed” of the serpent that is referred to in Genesis 3:15 (“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”) is a specific “seed”. Just as Christ is the seed of the woman spoken of, perhaps the anti-Christ will be the “seed” spoken of. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he will actually be the seed of Satan. What lost woman, in the world today, would not willingly give herself to a man that embodies “male perfection”? He can make himself appear very beautiful. Whether he appeared as an angel, a humanoid alien, a man, whatever… Very plausible. And Hollywood has made us very amenable to such a situation in this day and age.
Just as we would be very likely to heed the “wisdom” of extra-terrestrial beings who come to our backward planet and help us to move past our petty wars and violence and ascend to a greater place of peace and advancement. (Think Star Trek Vulcans.)And, of course, a very basic tenant will be that we need to shed our divisive, archaic notions of God and religion.
We know that all the world will, one day, meet in the Valley of Megiddo to war with God Himself. What a convenient method of getting everyone poised to fight against the Lord by having everyone believe that He is instead a hostile alien threatening our planet (which our new “friends” will help us fend off, of course).

  11. Why would the invisible want to become visible, other than to influence human governmnet through human flesh? There must be some kind of barrier to making the invisible visible, or it would be revealed as such throughout world history. There is no question of the influence of cunning evil on world events, politics, and authoritarianism. There is a considerable lack of evidence of directly revealed demons, or fallen angels. There must be boundaries on such.

It is obvious that we have very little information on fallen angels, demons, and/or aliens, as such. So exploring such a vacuum becomes extra challenging (where trace evidence hints at this or that, but inconclusively so).

And, Sheila asked Dr. Brown very relevant questions on the matter, which remain outstanding here. The premise for the blogs and program is to ask such questions and explain theological implications by M.B.’s answers, is it not?

  12. Since all of the extra-terrestrials appear to have the same agenda (and I’d like to know of any who don’t) — which is that of contradicting the truth of our Holy Scriptures — what a perfect disguise! Come as “beings from other galaxies” to “enlighten” us as to our “real origins,” and prove it by the workings of wonders, especially, in this technologically-infatuated age, with ships and weaponry far more “advanced” than what is currently recognized.

Perhaps the Flood wiped out their bases on earth and they went underground. Perhaps there is a reason that “hell” is depicted as “below” and that ships have been witnessed arising from below the ocean floor. Perhaps they went, as some have claimed, into another dimension — a hidden dimension, i.e., invisible, yet still there. They’ve got a lot riding on their interpretation of what is “true.” They will put everything they have towards that battle. We shouldn’t be too surprised to find them making some sort of splash in the media one day. Having had two sightings, one at a young, naive age, I know that UFO’s are not imaginary. FWIW, I tend to agree with Chuck Missler’s take myself.

  13. I’ve been working on this for weeks and finally decided to just go ahead and submit it.

The Book of 1 Enoch was found in the writings of the Dead Sea Scrolls, dated around 2bc, so, we know the NT writers, as well as the Lord, were familiar with it. (The Lord, of course, being familiar with everything) And, it seems apparent the Holy Spirit put His stamp of approval on the book at the time of the writing of the NT as many sentences in the Epistles parrellel those in the book attributed to Enoch. Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, “Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

And there are others I could site, but, for the sake of brevity, I’ve left them out.

I’ll submit my question again to Dr. Brown about the origin of the many demons in Christ’s time, and apparently still roaming about today.

I think one of our greatest challenges will be in witnessing to those who firmly believe the alien theory answers many questions for them. It is so very prevelent on History Channel, as I’ve been following it ever since my great nephew pointed me to it. He doesn’t believe Jesus came as Savior. He says he believes in “a” God, but, not as described in the Bible. Many people today have “re-made” God into their image. He was taught evolution theory in school and in his young impressionable mind, the “link” that was “missing” has now been found. They are beings who have “evolved” on other planets, and he justifies his belief because, as he explains it, the universe is so very old, that evolution could have produced other beings who evolved millions of years before we did, and they are probably responsible for “intervening” in our evolution on earth. They are and were the gods of old spoken of in the Bible. He knows some scripture, just as those who produce these shows know “some” scripture, and use it to promote their, “the aliens are our gods theory”. I’ve not heard any one of those on these shows ever mention the words, “fallen angels”. They are thoroughly convinced that these are from another planet. Of course, though, the reasons as to why they are here are not as clear, but, the implication is that something momentous is right around the corner.

I don’t disagree with that. The Lord’s coming is to be expected as always emminent and the proponents and promoters of this theory are increasing exponentially as they enter a time of very wide, wholesale selling of it to the public. Just as the demons gathered in Jerusalem while the Lord walked the earth, it seems there’s something in the air speeding up the battle for the souls of men. Look at the rapid decline in moral aptitude in just the last 30 years or so, together with this now widespread belief that the Nephilim are our older brothers and makers!

I’ve studied this phenomenon for decades, but, only recently from a Christian perspective. Although, I do know that all the while, God was in the back of my mind and I was trying to fit it in somewhere with what little I knew about the Bible. There are not that many Christians who take it seriously. If we don’t arm ourselves with knowledge concerning all the various, or, at least the more prevalent theories that are gaining momentum daily, we’ll be at a loss to win any over to Christ from this alien theory camp. That is my sorrow concerning my nephew and others like him, who think themselves intellectually superior to shallow Christians because they finally have the ultimate “proof” they’ve been looking for to prove the Bible is not the word of God, but, of past alien encounters perceived by the ancients as gods. That’s the glory the chief adversary of the Lord wants, but, his hopes will be dashed as it is written. The ancients worshipped them as creator gods…and it seems it’s come full circle.

As Ruth mentions, Chuck Missler is one who has looked into this. One book of interest is, “Alien Encounters, The Secret Behind the UFO Phenomenon”, written by Missler and Mark Eastman. Gary Bates wrote a book dealing with the evolution tie to the UFO agenda, his being from a Christian perspective too. The title is, “Alien Intrusion, UFO’s and the Evolution Connection.” Another by I.D.E. Thomas, “The Omega Conspiracy” follows along the lines of the Genesis Apocryphon copy that was also recovered at Qumram in 1947 (that date rings a bell) when writing about the return of the Watchers. That book didn’t impress me much, but, useful to promote further thought on the subject. Another is “Nephilim Stargates and the Return of the Watchers”, by Thomas Horn. He sites some influential Christian writers, and the book contains some very interesting and useful information for arguing in affirmation of Scripture, but, he tends to drift off on some tangents and I found he doesn’t have as firm a grasp on scripture as others. Of course the early researchers and writers, such as Ivan T. Sanderson, “Invisible Residents, The Reality of Underwater UFO’s”, written in 1970, and Jacques Vallee, writing from probably the mid 70’s (?) until recently, being somewhat retired from the field, who is not of religious persusion at all, came to the conclusion long before this modern wave, that these were not from other planets and Vallee even made the connection with the historical tales of the encounters that people the world over related of demon activity throughout the ages. Impressive conclusion from a man who doesn’t profess to believe in God or the Scriptures.

I would still like to hear from Dr. Michael Heiser. I’m hoping the interview can take place with Dr. Brown, with advance notice, hopefully, so I can listen to it live. Like I said, how can we witness to those of this new persuasion? We need to first educate ourselves on what’s being bandied about these days. We can’t ignore it and hope it goes away. This stuff seems to be snowballing as we speak; gathering more converts everyday. And I refuse to discount something the Lord has allowed me to see with my own eyes as insignificant. “The Lord is my shield and buckler”, “a very present help in time of trouble.” And I will not operate out of fear of the unknown. It’s only unknown until you thoroughly search it out. If, however, we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, (even while it appears that way) but, with principalities and powers of wickedness in high places”; well, I, for one, want to make sure I’m fully armed with all the knowledge available to me. If that involves finding out the weightier matters of the Scriptures, and some things hard to understand, so be it. I think I’ve graduated from the meat and bones of sound Doctrine and have the Majors firmly understood. I want to save some more souls and if I have to branch out to do it, well, I feel I better stay abreast of what I’m up against. I’m ready, willing, (somewhat able), and fully armed with the Word of God and with the promise of the Lord who declared that He would never leave me, but, would be with me even to the end of the world. Whom, then, shall I fear?

This matter-of-fact phenomenon is not going away. Does anyone recall the Phoenix Lights incident?

  14. Another question put to anyone to answer. Is Satan now in chains, or, is he roaming about looking for someone to completely give themselves over to the dark side?

I’d say Hitler fit the bill, with, one more to come claiming to be Messiah.

    Anybody?

  15. Ahhha. I think I found it for myself. Only those who fell with him are in chains. He is still roaming about. Still need to know the origin of the demons on the loose; are they the spirit beings of the Nephilim who perished? The names of the inhabitants in the cities Joshua conquered all seem to have a similar association with the “…im’s”

    Inquiring minds want to know.

  16. Very interesting topic, and “Demons are the disembodied spirits of the Giants (Nephilim). The ‘Mighty Men of Renown’ are the Gibborim created by the Watchers when they left their heavenly abode and came down to the daughters of men as recorded in Genesis Chapter 6:4 of the Old Testament. They are half breeds, angelic hybrids, the Titans.

When fallen angels shape-shift into a form of human being they can have intercourse but not without some aberrant genetic changes. The union of these beasts with humans produced children that were different in many ways. The first apparent difference was that they developed giantism. They were giants or Nephilim. Og the King of Bashan had a bed that was 13 to 15 feet long; and Goliath was 6 cubits tall (9 feet). The second aberration was that they had six fingers and six toes… “The aberrant genetic tendencies of the Nephilim were unfortunately cloned into the D.N.A. of mankind. According to the Bible, only Noah escaped this genetic intervention at the time. There are no records of these perverse tendencies prior to the intervention of the Watchers. These dormant genetic tendencies still surface today at times in different people … The Watchers are a guardian class of angels that were assigned to watch over the earth and protect mankind from just this sort of thing happening.
